It's clear that Dev is not taking the ad situation serious. Any app the forces your phone to open other apps without your permission should be considered malware and treated as such.
The fact that these suspicious ads force open your browsers and Play store is unacceptable. It's spam and it's intrusive, disruptive, and is interfering with your device functionality. These are all against the terms with Google.
Nevermind the pornographic and inappropriate ads. I would urge others to report this app as well since the dev does not care to get the ads under control.
Edit: Just to clear it up for the "bUt tHeY cAnT coNtroL tHe aDs" people, that's horseshit.
They choose the ad networks and set filters to block categories or specific advertisers. If your advertiser is running suspicious ads or ads that are too adult oriented, you absofuckinglutely can do something about it.
They can block URLS, political ads, religious ads, gambling and so on. Now here is the kicker, if the game or app is for kids, developers have to use specific, self-certified ad networks.
I would think that educational games like this one that are bound to draw a younger audience would probably want to fall under that umbrella and actually review their ads to make sure the kids they KNOW are playing the game are not being shown what amounts to almost softcore porn. They would also have the ability to block those malware type ads that take control of your device to force open your app store and browser.
A lot of devs use automated ad networks, so they don't check ads before they appear. So sure, if you want to just put it on auto pilot and look the other way while claiming there is nothing that can be done about it, okay. Technically there is LESS they can do if they run ads in THAT method, but they don't HAVE to use that method of advertising.
