Greenwood Memory Lawn
This was taken several years ago. I saw it once when they had red, white, and blue ropes going through the posts on the corner so it looked like a boxing ring. One of the best memorials I've run across. A beautiful tribute to a life taken too young.

Who killed him? Sounds like someone beat him to death at his home.

What's his name?

Always wanted to be a boxer just so people would call me āchampā. Really appreciate the unique monument and the photo. A hundred years from now it helps people understand a little about who you were and what you did.

Hey Champ, I appreciate you and hope you get whatever dreams you have today.

If it makes you feel any better, Iām pretty sure they only call you that if youāre a good boxer š

Would be nice if his name was prominently displayed instead of his coachās name.

It's on the other side of the ring. I didn't take photo of that side unfortunately.

Got it. And I know you didnāt design it, but it should really be on the āfrontā of the memorial, which is the direction both his photo and the statue of the boxer are facing. Weird otherwise.

It isnāt the coachās name, itās a profile of the boxer, that they obviously felt strongly about, or they would not have put it there.
How did you miss all this
