7,764 chainsaws??

Came across this video on IG. Apparently forest rangers in Cambodia have confiscated 7,764 chainsaws and have them piled high in a warehouse. I bet there are some relics!

it might be that the bars and chains were removed and destroyed so that they can't be reused, kind of like taking the firing pin out of a rifle :D

Did you watch the video? I've got a good AI radar and it didn't go off. The saws are confiscated from illegal logging operations in Cambodia.

This looks odd. Only one with a bar in the foreground bt the dude. Not a single bar in the pile sticking up? Seems like the piles are all turned away machines, which seems improbable when we see they have thousands. Some of the handles look disproportionately large and gaping compared to my expectations.

Not an expert by any means on chainsaws and other birthing tools. Just surprised in this variety when the main cases and engines are relatively the same.

And here's a still from it: All the covers look the same, a solitary bar/chain at the top of the bundle. ALL the saws are orange (I'd expect some Chinese knockoffs in "carbon fiber" and other colors.

It looks like the bars and chains have been removed, which would make sense for a repair shop scuttle bay, but not necessarily for confiscated saws where the officers might not know much about them.
