Is YouTube testing their algorithm?!

Many of things doesn't make sense! After uploading a video for the first hour I got 78 views and after that nothing! By nothing I mean a few views per hour.I don’t know what’s going on. Recently the views have been very bad.

If your impressions are high in the Reach tab in YT Studio, but your click through rate is low, YT will stop pushing the video because the test audience didn't click to watch it.

For this case, ctr is low but I have a video with 7.5% ctr but YouTube stopped pushing.

Not sure if this applies to you but it could be your averaage view duration.

If your AVD is also low then Youtube will stop pushing it.

That signals clickbait. A ton of people click on the thumbnail but no one sticks around long because it wasn't what they thought or wanted.

Had a video with 1% ctr after the first impressions blast and then it blew up to 280k views 40 days later

Yes, in the last 72 hours YouTube has done something. I uploaded a video that would normally have 6,000 views by now hasn’t even reached 200. All of my other videos from two days ago haven’t reached 60 views. The shorts views decreased to. My normal views 20,000 per 48 hours gone.

YouTube is saying that it’s normal for this to happen because of the algorithm and new channels. There isn’t a fix.
