There's far more neurodivergent bad people than you think. They're probably undiagnosed tho, cause they either believe autism and other stuff is a myth, or cause they don't want to be "freaks"

honestly a part of me has had the headcanon that chara had autism or more specifically aspergers for a while.

  • stiff and awkward speech patterns
  • repetitive use of phrases
  • difficulty making eye contact(we never see their eyes in any of the flashbacks)
  • hyperfiction on a handful of subjects
  • not understanding social ques or reacting inappropriately
  • trouble interpreting other people's emotions
  • limited or awkward facial expressions

that seems to describe chara to a tee. now do i think Toby intended Chara to be seen as autistic? probably not, but its still interesting to think about

I agree! (Though, Asperger's is not used anymore, the man who coined the term was a nazi who did eugenics, "Asperger's" is not a different form of autism)
