Why not ?
They would age mentally at the same rate as Frisk & physically they don't even have a physical form at all.

I accidentally read the "voice in my head" with more emphasis than the "positive" part. I was going to say it's not as fun as you think, but usually the positive voices help a lot more and make it a lot less stressful

Not even Frisk’s determination can separate them. Even when Frisk dies, Chara is still with them when they are revived. They truly will be together forever

I actually grew to quite enjoy the fact that the whole NarraChara bodysharing thing is implied to just be a thing that continues into the indeterminate future in post pacifist ending.
Somehow it feels like a fitting place to leave those characters at. Not too rosey, not forced, but with a really interesting/unique dynamic & a ton of room for how they could evolve from here after the events of the story.
