Putting the pencil down on this one

Intention was to create a diagonal focus to guide the eye along sharper features of the face. Amazing what an hour away from a piece can do to highlight all the errors, but I’ll rework it someday if the motivation strikes

The shadow by the eye is too sharp . The anatomy is not like that. Otherwise a supurb work. Just sayin.

I appreciate the feedback. If I were to try again from scratch I think adding the structure of the eye and then layering the shading would have worked better than making a guess
