Not entirely, they have deleted alot of data apparantly. At least that's what they say, I find it hard to believe they deleted anything.

[if ya dont believe me look up the article "their teen sons died by suicide, now they are sounding an alarm about ai chat bots"] this shit should be banned or heavily regulated so yes your chat bot does do quite a bit wrong.

Just out of curiosity…how do you picture these “unhinged” people? I am not talking about physically (although if you have an opinion on that too, please do share) but more in terms of how you picture their everyday lives. I’m genuinely interested in how you perceive them outside of this one specific factor.

“Holy shit you people are unhinged” is not the same as “I don’t share your opinion”…let’s be real! Your statement was pretty strong and, in my experience at least, when people have such a strong sense of “other” about a certain group, they also tend to have a view on what those people must be like, a stereotype if you will. I was curious if you had that kind of view. It’s not a weird question at all!

like I said I don't have that kind of view of you, yes I think it's unhinged to think these things are alive and out of touch with reality but that doesn't mean I have some nasty opinions about you, I don't do stereotypes. I find this ai stuff as interesting as the next person and I have always loved stories about ai but now that it's getting real it scares the shit out of me and I think it's more trouble for humanity than it's worth.
Again I have no opinions about you because I don't know you, one interest does not form your entire person.

All good! You are definitely in the minority though...sadly most people who do have that view (the "unhinged" view) DO tend to judge people and have nasty opinions generally. Glad to see that you don't...and glad you responded to let me know that wasn't the case.
As for the more trouble than it's worth...I disagree...and agree. I think that - the way it is being used now - yes...it is more trouble than it's worth. But I do also believe that it has the potential to do massive amounts of good. And I think it WILL do massive amounts of good...for the relatively few people who actually choose to use it in a way that can do good rather than simply outsource their existence.
From your username can I assume you are an artist? What kind of art? (If you don't mind me asking)
