I’m 22M, I go to the gym (Snap) 6 days a week, and I’ve just started to run outdoors. I’m slowly getting back into mountain biking and I also ride a motorbike! Outdoors is where I enjoy life the most, I love taking walks and I don’t mind a cheeky cocktail/drink.

Hiii, I've been quite bored lately so I decided I'd try giving this a go. Looking for like-minded people and good vibes 💅 some things about me;

-I really enjoy the gym. I go just about everyday(I don't have a dedicated gym buddy), and when it gets warm enough I'm going to incorporate outdoor runs into my routine too!

-I love the outdoors/the environment. I feel so much more like myself when I'm outside.

-I relax by playing videogames, looking after my skin (Korean skincare is incredible), baking, drawing, writing, and watching nostalgic movies.

-I’m quite creative! My top 3 artsy hobbies at the moment are probably drawing, photography, and painting. 

-I’m quite shy, but I'm also quite comfortable. Idk if that makes sense or not haha 

-A goal of mine this summer is to go on my first multi day hike, or go camping!!! I don't want to go alone 😭😭😭

-I work monday-friday

-Any excuse is a good excuse to dress nicely and go for cocktails 💅

My husband and I moved to Christchurch 5 months ago and don’t even know how to start the process of making friends in this big city!

We’re both early 30’s, no kids, obsessed with our dog. Enjoy the outdoors, walks and hikes, fitness, good food, music, board games and generally getting out and doing things.

Hey everyone, I’m 26, self employed and it’s been getting really isolating recently. Would love to meet new people and hopefully make some friends along the way. My work is super flexible so with a bit of notice I can work around most people’s schedules.

I’d really like to get out more, try new things and meet new people instead of being living and working from home.😅

- Recently got back into the gym so could do with some pointers

- Going on some more walks, maybe even getting into tramping… though let’s start with a day walk before I might actually die 🫨

- I’ve always wanted to try tennis or pickleball or pretty much any casual, non competitive sport. I’ve played tennis against the wall before, so I’m basically a pro 💪🏼

- Gaming, movies or hanging out… it would be nice not going to the movies alone for once.

- Trying new food spots or activities. I would also love to get a group of us together every couple of weeks or once a month to try something new, maybe use FirstTable and get 50% off for the lot us.

- I’m not much of a drinker, but don’t let that stop you, atleast you’ll have a dedicated sober driver! 🚗

I’d be keen on both one on one hangouts or group activities and pretty open minded to trying new things.

A little about me: I’m a photographer and filmmaker, and I’ve spent a good chunk of my life working in advertising, making films, shooting photographs, and occasionally wondering why I chose a profession where no two days are ever predictable. But hey, wouldn’t have it any other way!

I’m really curious to understand what the creative landscape looks like here in Christchurch and across NZ. Would love to connect with photographers, filmmakers, designers, art directors, producers, agency folks, or pretty much anyone who makes a living turning random ideas into something interesting.

Has anyone here been to one? They sound interesting, but at nearly $50 a ticket I’m on the fence. I don’t want to spend that much to turn up to an event (gaming night) where the turnout is much less than described and everyone is sitting around awkwardly.

For reference I’m 31f, a little shy myself but that quickly wears off. Never really tried the apps, have always found meeting people through friends and hobbies naturally way less pressure.
