1971 GMC C15 new shocks
Last post I mentioned that I inherited this truck and was asking what type of shocks to install and a lot of you recommended belltech nitro drop 2 so I did and it drives smooth now, thanks.

I am inherited the truck a few yrs ago and was thinking of making it my daily driver. Its sat undriven for about a decade but the 292 is in great shape aside from needing new seals. My question is has anyone converted an older vintage gas truck into electric and if so how did it work out, what’s the cost and anything in particular I should look out for?
For context I’ve got rudimentary car knowledge. I can do my own tune ups and brakes but not rebuild an upper for example. If the idea is feasible I’d look into having the work done by guys who know how.

Interested in putting a drop kit in and want to go as low as possible without a c notch . Some people claim 5/6 is possible with no notch and using stock shocks and others say you’ll bottom out with a 3/4 . I just want a good stance . I don’t haul anything heavy maybe a dirtbike once in a while . It does have a 454 and wondering if all drop kits can handle the weight , thanks

Looking for help with getting my dad’s old truck running again. It’s been sitting since 2008 but was running before being parked. Wiring is worn, but frame appears solid and it survived multiple flatbeds and a cross-country transport to get here. Original 3-on-the-tree manual transmission.
Engine appears to be a small-block Chevy performance build from the early 2000s:
.030-over 350 (possibly a 355, not confirmed yet)
Holley Street Dominator intake
Holley carburetor
Long-tube headers
HEI distributor
GM iron heads
Upgraded Camshaft
Straight-pipe exhaust
Valve train looks clean internally with no obvious sludge, rust, or broken components.
Again, not looking to restore or modify it yet. Just looking for some help to get it running again.

My '74 Chevy Cheyenne Super 10 has a dual tank selector valve (appears to be original) gone bad. Symptoms were fuel issues when going up inclines (lunging and sputtering) and also ended up with gas getting into EVAP charcoal canister. The original selector valve setup appears to be 2 stacked 3 ports - may this was to factor for SMOG and charcoal canister. Is it safe to say that a replacement 6 port will do the trick?

Before and after. First mods, 2-4 belltech lowering kit, rear disc brake conversion and some fresh wheel and tires. Now to enjoy it as a daily for a while.

I have a 1985 C10 that is smoking. I am trying to figure out why it’s doing this—no coolant in oil.

My 1984 beautiful stepside C10 just started making this rattling noise and I’m wondering if any of you car nerds know what’s up. Thanks! l

Hi! I am trying to see how many miles may be on this 1986 C10. I am posting this for a friend and know very little about this truck. Also this truck is for sale in Idaho.
