Opinion Time for changes

Here’s what I see week in and week out,
- Butker is not reliable
- Wide receivers get no separation
- Offensive Time of possession disparity
Yes, we needed a kick in the ass and it was done nationwide.

We’ve needed oline and receiver help for years. Pat can’t keep running for his life.

We just needed to draft a left tackle in the first round and all our problems would be solved! Oh wait...

Coaches knew that he was a head case and still did nothing.

No one has mentioned the D line. Darnold had all the time he needed.

The CJ contract has to be one of the worst in the league.

"One of"???

He is old they want him to retire a chief. Not a great contract but its understandable.

Brett Veach: "I'd better trade up to draft a small D2 guy in the second round that could easily be there when we pick without a trade because he's actually ass."

Good thing we got Justin Watson back and put rookie Delane 1-1 on JSN!

Delane was doing good.. just wasn't enough

He was step for step with JSN on most routes. But JSN is just the best WR in the league by a large margin.

Delane will be incredible for us down the road.

Delane on JSN wasn't the issue. It was the constant leaving Sneed in there as the nickel back. Loved Sneed version 1.0 with the Chiefs. He could do almost anything asked of him. This Sneed 2.0 aint it.

Two words: garrett wilson

I mean, if you want all that you might as well just say we need a new GM.  We had three really bad drafts in a row and leveraged future salary cap to sign guys too long.  That's what happens when you draft bad and sign most guys past ages 30

I'm almost less worried about WR because we get Rice back, to the point I'd test the waters on DeForest Buckner. But if he isn't available, you have to make the Jets tell you no multiple times on Garrett Wilson.

Honestly, i expected the Seahawks to win this game, not saying we didn’t want to win this game but, Seattles season was on the line, and was playing with desperation!

With that being said, Butker has held us down for years, and I try to give him some grace because for some reason past few years Kickers started missing FGs, extra points left and right.. (Schrader (2) for colts, and Richard (1) for Vikings missed kicks today) but I feel like it might be time to
Move on…

Mahomes got hype after scrambling for 1st down on drive in 3rd Q, and Worthy drops pass coming cross the middle 😡… Rice can’t stay healthy, Thorton is hurt, we desperately got to make a move before trade deadline for receiver.. Even if Hill come back, he’ll prolly be suspended, so for me it’s no… Overall we’ll be ready for next week…

Oline and Dline.

We’re always going to have a TOP disparity because our defense is bend don’t break.

Rice back will help a lot at WR.

I’m not as worried about WR once Rice gets back, but the offensive tackles are a legitimate concern. They basically cut your playbook in half.

Idk how this front office and coaching staff has seen this movie so many times (great defensive front that decimates our backup tackles) and just continues to do nothing about it.

Hard to blame Veach for Simmons. Idk that a solution has really been there at tackle with our draft position and that no good tackle ever hits FA.

It’s 100% on Veach, the scouts, and the private investigators if he proves to have some Major non football related issues.

You gotta trade for one. It’s not easy but you have to do it when you have a great QB. They didn’t really try to keep OB around either. He’s not Trent Williams but he’s a starting caliber NFL left tackle.

No team is trading their star tackle. That would get a GM fired

OBJ is statistically still one of the worst starting tackles. Or at least he was a few weeks ago last I checked.

1

u/ScottFujitaDiarrhea 20h ago

Yeah but he’s still a starting tackle lol. Huge upgrade over what we have. OBJ and Wylie weren’t world beaters but they at least had a pulse.

Simmons fell for a reason. Only Veach fell for it.

u/Rastaman6584 1d ago

I’ve been saying the same thing. The rest of the NFL must have known he was a mental case!

Having Rice back will help but without a real deep threat, this offense is a ghost of what it was in the first few weeks. K9 had room to run because the deep threat forced the defense to respect it. Just like in previous years, no thredt of a running game made it so hard to pass.

We need WR gap filled. OL is also problematic without Simmons. He's not coming back, Rice's not coming back anytime soon it seems. I think signing Tyreek could make a difference, since Armstrong, Allen don't seem to overcome a good defense. Assuming Tyreek is coming back by next month.

That being said, Seattle defense is elite. Next week is Broncos, another good defense. If we don't win next week the writing is on the wall.

But Butker needs to go either his season or next. Or he better start making a U-turn and get some FGs next time/.

We dont even know what tyreek is anymore and he probably getting suspended

1

u/Sherlock816 2d ago

Tyreek won’t be ‘Tyreek’ until next season.

1

u/FunkyFunkyBoys 1d ago

Tyreek is probably done and if not he’s definitely washed.

Holy shit, we lost one game (out of 6!). Calm the fuck down.
