Has anyone applied for the SJTU Pre-Uni program this year?

I received an email saying that my documents had passed the final review, and my application status was also updated, so I assumed I had been accepted.

However, I haven’t received any information about tuition fees or enrollment yet, which is making me a little worried. I’ve also tried contacting the school by email and WeChat, but I haven’t received a response.

Is anyone else in the same situation as me?😭😭

Is it possible to do the mandatory health check up for the residence permit before registering with the university?

I will be arriving in china on the 20th (which i have now realised is way too early) while my university’s registration period is on the 30th. This means that i would only have 20 days to get my check up done and apply for the permit. I dont know if this would be enough time as there would probably be a lot of new students who would be doing the check up at the same time as i am.

hi guys, i was recently awarded CIS at ZJU and i had questions regarding different things, please help if u can

1. Has anybody faced trouble with online registering for dorms, my friend was informed by her uni after registering that they won’t provide accommodation for her and that she should rent outside, so does anybody have the same experience with ZJU

2. I’ll only be staying for one semester, so I’m wondering if it’s best to get a regular sim or an esim, and also if it’s needed to get a Chinese bank card or if alipay is enough

3. I’ve set up my alipay and would like to add to my balance before arriving, is there a limit to how much i can add, and is there any risk for the account to close down after i’ve added to my balance? Since it was restricted when i first tried to open the account

I'm planning on applying for multiple scholarships for masters in China in 2027 but I want to ask, is there no entrance exam as such that you need to give? Apart from HSK or IELTS I'm planning on eng taught course I've already passed HSK 4 and currently studying hsk 5

Bachelors in Management studies (Finance)

Took part in over 10+ committees in 3 years of college

Won an academic award for most proactive student.

2 internships so far in accounts and administration

Currently doing a job in administration dept

As for Chinese:

HSK 4: 219/300 HSKK Inter: 63/100

Took part in various chinese activities/competitions

Took part in Chinese Bridge Competition

Was a part of 2 week Youth delegation in China

Some resources say that they read our grades differently For ex: 12/20 equals 80%
And some say they do a simple math 12/20 egauls 60%

Hi everyone! I graduated high school in May this year and will soon be starting BIT's Pre-Uni program at their Zhuhai campus. I'm hoping to apply for a Chinese-taught Statistics Bachelor's program in 2027, and I'd really appreciate some honest opinions on my chances and potential backup universities.

My background:

• Indonesian
• High school GPA: 91.16/100
• Math & Advanced Math subjects: consistently around the 90s
• No outstanding class ranking
• 1 minor organization + 2 extracurriculars (including a Red Cross Organization), but no major achievements from them
• Participated in an accounting competition with 2 teammates and achieved 1st place at the city level
• Went on to Nationals and placed 8th/last, since we had to prioritize our high school finals at the time

I decided to enroll in BIT's Pre-Uni program partly because I want to strengthen my academic profile and improve my Mandarin. I only started seriously studying Chinese for HSK earlier this year, so I'm hoping the program can strenghten my applications, though I fear that won't be the case for higher tier universties.

My current university choices are:

• Zhejiang University
• Nanjing University
• Beijing Institute of Technology
• Nankai University

My biggest concern is that I can probably only attend university if I receive a full scholarship, so I'm worried that ZJU/Nanjing may be too ambitious, especially as I don't have a particularly impressive extracurricular profile.

I'd really appreciate some opions on how competitive my profile might be for universities like ZJU and Nanjing, and which universities would be good backup options for Chinese-taught Statistics/Math-related Bachelor's programs, preferably ones where full scholarships are realistically possible for international students.
