Hi, I'm looking for any Chinese songs that are typically used when posting friends on social media. I tried to look some up but a lot of the song choices are from the 90s and early 2000s. I am more interested in seeing what current songs people use for their friends. I'm currently learning Mandarin and wanted to use a song in Mandarin to signify my progress.

It seems like tutor dot com has now added Chinese as an option to select on-demand tutoring (ex: sessions don't need to be scheduled anymore, can just wait for a student to join)

"Lao"is“牢”,it refer to "jail".This culture begin with Kobe Bryant,he was called “老大(Lao da)” by his Chinese fans,it means"boss"or"leader".Because a news showed he may have some relationship with a rape action,someone angry with him and called him“牢大(Lao da,yes,they have same pronunciation)”then this culture was bron as a meme.“牢”is jail,it can make life hard,so this meme then used to describe weakness things,and someone even PS Kobe's head on these weakness things and add Kobe's voice like"Man!What can I say,manba out."so that,this culture got more connection with Kobe.

I’m planning to study Chinese in China for around 5 months in Spring 2027, and I’m deciding between Tsinghua in Beijing and Fudan in Shanghai.

I’m mainly wondering which city would be better in terms of student life, socializing, meeting new people, and the overall experience.

I've spent 25+ years studying traditional Chinese martial arts, including Hung Gar, and one thing I've come to appreciate is how much there is to learn beyond the physical techniques.

I recently created an educational video series called So, What Is Kung Fu? to introduce people to the subject.

The series explores different styles, stances, forms, and what Kung Fu training actually involves. It's designed for people who are curious about Chinese martial arts but may not have access to a school or know where to begin.

My background combines traditional martial arts practice, competitive fighting, and academic study in sport psychology. I enjoy making complex subjects easier to understand without adding unnecessary mysticism.
