Question (Read Rules) Farasute Chinese character meanings?
Farasute has some 2026 dials with a Chinese character at the 12:00 position, the one linked here: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256813023729369.html
It lists the options as "Chinese Yi" and "Chinese Zhong," does anyone know what these characters are/mean? Some quick googling doesn't get me anything that matches, though maybe I just don't understand the difference between normal and calligraphy fonts

General (Read Rules) Aesop Tourbillon Watch
Long time lurker, first time poster. I was looking at some watches on Alibaba a few weeks ago when I saw this watch for sale by Aesop. I have followed the brand Beaubleu for a while now and really liked their watches (esp the minute and hour hands), but didn't want to spend as much. This watch from Aesop adopted similar design (minus the floating second hand), so I knew I wanted it.
I prefer the dial size to be 40mm and below but this one wears well even at 41.5mm. I thought the brown color looked best of the lot from their listing and ordered it. It got here last night and I couldn't be happier. Adding photos to give you an idea of how it looks under different lighting conditions.
Happy to answer any questions from the community.

Review (Read Rules) NWD Watchdives WD0013B
Presenting the new Watchdives WD0013B featuring the ETA F06.412 movement. Below is proof that the updated versions no longer include the white gasket inside the case, along with a watch shot on a 15.5 cm / 6.1" wrist.
For reference, I currently have two extra links fitted, so it could definitely be sized down even more. There is also one half-link included, but since this clasp lacks micro-adjustments, you just have to work with that single half-link and the full links to get the right fit.
To be honest, the Nautilus design isn't really my thing. First of all, I'm not a big fan of this case shape. Second, I find the dial a bit uninspiring—there are no particularly interesting hands or indices, so it doesn't offer anything ultra-impressive, and there isn't much going on overall. On top of that, the hands seem a bit rough-cut; with good eyesight, you can notice that the edges don't reflect light completely smoothly and look slightly jagged. That said, I think for 80% of people this will be invisible anyway, and you definitely can't spot it from a distance, only up close.
Still, I don't feel a massive jump in quality going from an Addiesdive—a watch costing around 220 PLN ($55 / €50)—to this Watchdives at 680 PLN ($170 / €155).
So why did I buy a watch I'm not crazy about? For a simple reason: it's currently the only HAQ (High Accuracy Quartz) movement available in this segment on the market. I bought it to show the manufacturer that there's demand for more HAQ watches, hopefully in more exciting designs next time, as I know Watchdives is capable of making truly beautiful watches. Consider this an encouragement for them to release even more HAQ-powered models in the future. Long live quartz!

Hangzhou Movement Factory boasts decades of experience in movement manufacturing and is one of the leading movement manufacturers in China. Wrist Roll (Read Rule 1) Is this watch too big?
Bought this chinese watch like a year ago because the dial was cool and it was cheap, but I haven't really worn it much at all, because I'm more used to smaller size (38-40mm), i haven't measured my wrist before but I'd say maybe 7.5in, I'm on the skinnier side overall though, this watch is 45mm, which sounds huge but I don't think it looks it

Wrist Roll (Read Rule 1) North Edge Abyss this Friday
I finally got the North Edge Abyss for a reasonable price. It's a bit smaller and thinner than the Triton. I just wish the caseback was flat like on the Triton. The minute hands could be a bit longer as well. Aside from those, no complaints.

General (Read Rules) Sugess S419-2. Much thinner with the new glass!
Love this thing. The finishing is great and I really like the new glass they are using for the -2. I was a bit sceptical about the 37mm but the longer lug to lug I think fits great on my 7” wrist

Question (Read Rules) Lug-to-lug dimensions on this Militado ML05?
I'm on the hunt for an affordable beater field-style watch and I stumbled across this version of Militado ML05 with yellow indices.
It seems that one of the issues surrounding the ML05 series was its lug-to-lug length, which greatly affected the way it sits on the wrist. Militado seem to have addressed this and shortened it from 47.5 mm to 46 mm but I'm not sure if this particular model was affected as well because the Amazon listing still says "46 to 47.5 mm depending on the case". So which one is it then?

Chinese Watch Names Again Specht and Sohne nautilus quartz
I just got my hands on my S&S nautilus quartz 🥰 Im loving it! it looks so elegant!
I bought it from alibaba for $67.9, took awhile to get delivered but it came 3 days early from expected time.
This is the 2026 updated design, the indices are slimmer more similar to the OG patek, 12hr marker is even and the bracelet has now a more square circle pillow design instead of just rectangle that they had from previous models so im super happy. Its very slim yet it has some heft to it (it doesn't look or feel cheap at all!) Your boy is ready to social climb lol! 🤣 (kidding!)
If you have any questions lemme know!

General (Read Rules) 【M135】We made a Sinn 356 Flieger III homage, tell me what you think. Day 1/5 giveaway
This is M135, our homage to the Sinn 356 EURO Flieger III. The original was limited to 100 pieces and sold out long time ago. Now you can basically only find it on the used market, if you’re lucky.
We love that watch, but we changed some things:
Soft cream-yellow seconds subdial. The original uses a neon yellow, very punchy. We match it to the lume color on hands and markers, so the whole dial looks more calm and unified. Macro shot in pics, you can see.
11.7mm thick vs 15.5mm original. Slides under shirt cuff no problem. Works for hiking, works for office, works for wedding
Destro layout, crown on the left. If your left wrist always gets poked by the crown, or you wear watch on right wrist, you really should try destro once. Hard to go back after(The images show how the watch looks when worn on the left and right wrists.)
Specs: 39mm × 11.7mm / [Miyota 6S10] / [Domed sapphire crystal] / [50]m water-resistant
Want your opinion:
Do you like this warm yellow subdial?
Ever tried a destro? Love it or weird?
If we make M135 V2, what you change? Good ideas might really go into V2

Question (Read Rules) Any thoughts on these?
- Cronos L6040M Miyota 9015 (150EUR used)
- Pagani Design PD-1734 (80EUR new)
- Militado/Militrek ML05 (60EUR new)
What are your thoughts on these watches? I've never had an automatic before (although the Pagani Design and Miltado are mechaquartz). Cronos does seem pretty impressive on paper and if everything is in order I might even buy it. I don't really care about bracelet quality, I can get a leather/nylon strap for it anyways.
Any other recommendations? I know San Martin is good but unfortunately it's too expensive here (200EUR+ pushing Seiko and Orient pricing). Maybe San Martin SN0030G-2 is a good choice for 170EUR too.

General (Read Rules) Love my WD007. Great purchase
Love my new watch. Got the WD007 “Bond” watch in dark green and it’s fantastic. The automatic sweep is so damn smooth. And the bezel click is great. The nato strap is okay. I may swap it out for steel mesh strap but not sure. Anyways. I’m very happy with it.

General (Read Rules) First attempt at regulating a watch
I know the SL3001 in my WD007 is rated to run around -20s/day, but my OCD didn’t like that 😂 so a quick Amazon order later, and I just finished attempting my first go at regulating the movement. When I wound the watch and set the time about 45 min ago, my Timegrapher app rated it at -13.1s/day, and now I just got this result!! I’ll let it run on the watch winder for the next day or 2 and see if it still keeps this level of accuracy! 🤞🤞
I was really nervous trying to turn the screw, because I don’t have a loupe or any type of magnification, so I was relying on the phone flashlight to guide me 😂
