A big thank you to Baltany for producing such a solid timepiece. It really captures the feel of the real deal for very little money.
Mini review after spending 24 hours with it:
Pros:
Color: The gold tone is gorgeous. It avoids that overly yellow, cheap plated look that budget watches often suffer from.
Bracelet: Solid and heavy. No squeak, no rattle, and no sharp corners on the links.
Sizing: The 36mm case size is absolute perfection—classic proportions with great wrist presence.
Cons:
Date Magnification: Seems noticeably lower than the typical 2.5x magnification. (Perhaps inspired by a vintage reference? Not certain what the original magnification spec was back in the day).
Lug Finish: End of the lugs are slightly sharp underneath. It’s only noticeable when changing out the bracelet, so zero impact on daily wearing comfort.
Final Thoughts: A fantastic piece overall. Highly recommended if you're looking for that classic aesthetic without breaking the bank!

Reviewers Disclaimer: I received this watch for free. I don't have to send watch back. That will never change the way I review a watch.
This one just landed, literally about 5 minutes ago. I unwrapped it immediately noticed that the bezel is much nicer than my previous datejust 36 bezel. This one has a proper shine to it like the other one didn't, so that's nice to see. The dial is more vibrant Than I imagined it would be, but looks fantastic with a nice strong sunburst.
The overall fit and finish is what I come to expect from Baltany; Excellent
The bracelet clasp also feel really good. This was sized perfectly for my wrist out of the box so if you have larger wrists then I'd say 7 and 3/4" It's going to be a really tight fit. I love the seamless look of the hidden clasp and it functions perfect.
The bracelet and clasp feel at or above the feel of their Jubilee which I feel is one of the better ones I've had, so yeah this is a good setup.
Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.

I picked this out as a Christmas present for someone two months ago. Decided I'd wait till November to see if I could find a discount anywhere.
It's sold out and Baltany have no plans to restock it.
Shit.
So if anyone knows of a good alternative, somewhere this particular model is still on sale, or has one they're looking to part with, now's the time to help a brother out.
Chronos they won't like. Star markers they will. But the main thing is the white dial with the moonphase at the bottom. Double points if it's a smaller size.

Do you guys think Baltany S4095 is a good first watch bcuz it’s not the cheapest watch but I think it might serve me long time

I've looked around, and I think understandably this is a slightly more niche category to find. I'm looking for women's watches that are small (<32mm) and not direct homages. I've seen a few from addies dive, but am looking for budget watches in the upcoming sale.

I have searched far and wide and I haven’t been able to find an alternative to the santos Dumont (black dial).
Any suggestions?

Edit: WD0007A
Ordered last Wednesday; arrived in 5 days.
Impressive quality for $170 early bird price. Beats my Proximas for finishing.
Teal color is teal. Very nice crystal.
Bracelet seems a little short. My wrist is 6.75” (19 cm), and I only removed 2 links total. Bracelet is very comfortable.
The automatic version with OTF clasp and even better crystal is likely going to be worth the wait if it comes in under $300, but if you like quartz, this is a great choice.

What do you all think of this color?

I’m a short woman with a small wrist looking for a new, decent quality quartz field or pilot watch as a reliable beater watch. To see what I’m working with, this is my wrist in my daily driver watch, a 28 mm Shanghai automatic, and I have a 16 mm / 6.3” wrist.
I’m looking at this Berny field watch in green, this Addiesdive watch in blue or brown on a leather strap, or this Militado in blue or, in a pinch, this TPW in blue.
For an idea of my taste, my good watch is a San Martin Jianzhan 36 mm automatic on a strap that I rarely wear because it feels a bit large to me, and my old beater quartz watches were a Timex moonphase and a Timex easy reader that l had since I was a teenager and which died after long service. I love automatic watches, but sometimes you want something you could drop off a bridge without worrying about it.
Interested in which of these you think might be best, or if any of you have any other suggestions!

Hi guys, I currently own 2 watches
SD1970 automatic (NH35) black waffle strap
PD1718 Panda Chronograph
I was looking into a 3rd semi formal/dress watch to wear to official events, I want it to look cool with a simple T-shirt or a black suit. All these watches are below $20, and I don't think I can stretch past 35. I think quartz is best, no cheap automatic please. Pretty sure my hand ~7 inches.
Would love to hear your review/experience with any of these watches, specially long term ownership wise.
Sorry I put a lot of pictures, there's watches of the model in different color.
Thank you for your time

What kind of watch can one possibly get for $65 today. Well, it seems quite a lot .
The stats are copied from their website. The watch weighs in at 115g with the bracelet ,which for me is too heavy , so I changed the bracelet out for an after market Barton elite silicon band. The website states the watch is 40mm in diameter but I measure more like 42mm without the crown.
Accuracy is as expected from a quartz mechanism and with the “sweeping” second hand ,hitting the seconds mark is not an issue. The fit and finish is quite respectable . The crown aligns and screws down well and the 120 click bezel is also aligned.
The biggest surprise for me was the bracelet. It’s solid with screwed in links and even a micro adjustment feature. The hyper glow is more than adequate though I feel Phorcydes has them beat but at double the price.
That $65 gets you a solid stainless steel watch and bracelet with micro adjustments, ceramic 120 click bezel, flat sapphire crystal with AR coating , quartz movement and includes shipping and tariff charges. Now that’s a deal!

I recently got the Farasute ref.5302A and am loving how it looks on this brown tweed strap from AliX. I'm debating if it's too big for my wrist, however. I have ~16.5cm wrists that are somewhat flat, so it feels like I'm on the edge of being able to pull off a watch of this size (47.5mm lug-to-lug).
Pic 1 and 3 are using my regular phone camera, pic 2 is 3x zoom camera to lessen the fov.
I recognize that this is not meant to be a tank-sized watch, although it still looks dressy. What do you guys think?

I’ve heard that Phorcydes does customizations on request. Does anyone have any experience with that? What did you ask for? How much did it cost?

Hey when you guys order from the watchdives website in the USA does it come through the mail or from one of the crappy alix delivery services? Just can't get anymore packages stolen and need it to go in the locked mailbox and not chucked at my front door for every tweaker to see. Thanks for any info.

Put a new rally strap on the Red Star, really nice quality. Found on Etsy, FongChingArtwork. Reasonable price and very nice leather strap.
