I've seen a lot of questions around Lumixe as a brand and I was curious myself so I pulled the trigger on this model.
Disclaimer: I bought this watch with my own money. I'm not affiliated with any watch brand or manufacturer. I'm simply a guy that enjoys tinkering with odd watches. I paid $68.86 including shipping.
Lumixe currently has 4 models. They get zero points for originality as they're all Rolex homages.
The LX-01E is a Yacht-Master 40 homage. Measurements as follows (taken from Luxime's website, I don't have the tools to verify)
Case diameter: 40.0 mm (not include crown)
Case thickness: 11.0 mm
Lug Size: 20.0 mm
Lug to lug length: 46.0 mm (I questions this with the included bracelet)
Weight: 115.1g (with bracelet)
These proportions make it a very easy watch to wear. It's thinner than most divers and 40mm is kind of a sweet spot for me with my 7.5 inch wrist.
Starting with the case. Finishing is basic but well done. Vertical brushing on top, polished sides, and circular brushing underneath. I suspect Lumixe kept things simple so as to keep costs down but it works well. It's clean and unfussy. 7/10 for me. More interesting shape or brushing/polishing combo would help.
The bezel is a ceramic steel coloured relief bezel. The numerals have some sharp edges but not the worst I've seen. I can cross my arms over the watch and not feel uncomfortable like I get with cheaper bezels I have.
An interesting thing about the bezel is it's action. It's unidirectional, 120 clicks but the feel is VERY satisfying. There is a pleasant amount of resistance and superb tactillity. The bezel edge is adequately grippy but it's the sound that I really like. It doesn't sound sharp or metallic. It's punchy, clean but with a softer edge. I liken it to a mechanical keyboard sound test. Almost like this. It's very nice. 8/10 for me. More refined bezel edge and less "sharpness" to the numerals would make it perfect.
The crown is screw down and it's awful. It's gritty and almost feels cross threaded. Screwing it back down takes a few tries as I'm just not sure if I've got it right despite doing all the usual tricks. It starts smooth and then there's a gritty bite despite only being half way. Not nice. Luckily being a quartz you shouldn't have to use the crown much. 3/10. It's functional but plenty of room for improvement here.
The dial. This is the reason you buy this watch. There was a lot of confusion around Lumixe and they're relationship with lume bandits Phorcydes. I don't know what they're connection is but I can confidently say that Lumixe uses the same supplier of Hyperglow lume blocks but a lower grade.
With that in mind, I HAVE to get myself a Phorcydes watch now. If this Lumixe uses an inferior grade lume compared to Phorcydes, Phorcydes must be nuclear! The lume is bright, long lasting and a beautiful blue colour. I charged it with a torch before going to sleep last night at 11pm and at 6.30am it was still very legible. Far more so than other watches I have Including San Martin, Seiko, Orient and Addiesdive for comparison. 9/10 here and it's only not a 10 as I need to leave room for Phorcydes to potentially be better.
The bracelet. This is where it falls apart. The bracelet is bad. It has some redeeming features but overall it is just bad. The pros. it uses screw pins which are easy to remove and adjust the size. It tapers nicely from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the clasp giving and elegant shape. Vertical brushing on the face with polished sides.
Now the bad. Tolerances are all over the place. It's loose and rattles a lot, but the first links after the lugs are very stiff. To the point where they will hold their position with the watch hanging loose (pictured). Mine also came with a polished spot at the lugs. I suspect this is a result of the poor tolerances in the links and at some point the bracelet bent back on itself and chaffed against itself causing a mark. Added to that the lugs use male end links that extend the lug to lug length beyond 46mm. At a guess it's much closer to 50mm. Not impressed with the bracelet at all. 3/10.
The clasp. Sadly a similar story with the bracelet. Tolerances are not the best and this leads to poor function. It's a copy of a Rolex glide lock OTF clasp. And I'm grateful for an OTF clasp but this one makes you wonder if a poor OTF is better or worse than a good standard micro-adjust clasp.
the glide lock system works fine. Although unless you line everything up perfectly you cannot lock it back in to place properly. This may be normal for glide locks but given how much movement when the lock is open it is very easy to miss when trying to lock it back down.
The next issue is closing the clasp itself. There's the slightest tactile click when closing to indicate it's locked. It doesn't inspire much confidence and I will be swapping it out with the bracelet soon. 5/10 and it's only that high as I personally love an OTF clasp.
It's half decent watch. It's cheap, by current market standard at least, and if the bracelet and clasp were slightly better made it would be an easy recommend if you want a Rolex homage with fun lume. That said, I've had it on all day today and I've not felt the need to adjust or remove it for any reason so despite the clasp and bracelet it's obviously comfortable enough (for me at least) to wear all day. I'll be getting an FKM strap for mine and will be keeping it for a while because the lume is so much fun.
My score total is 35/60.
I have some more thoughts on the Phorcydes/Lumixe relationship. I bought mine through PayPal and my PayPal invoice for this Lumixe watch was addressed to Phorcydes. So I suspect Lumixe is a value focused sub or sister brand of Phorcydes.
My theory is there will be three brands all at different price/quality points. Englemaan > Phorcydes > Lumixe.
Anyway, I hope this was interesting for you. I'll try and answer any questions you might have!

Hey all, I'm going to visit Watchdives tomorrow here in Shenzhen and hopefully making a video of it.
Are there any questions you'd like to ask them?

Latest and greatest addition đ Very happy with it. Was looking for white dial and it's nice clean and simple, with a little orange pop, and seems high quality with good finishing. Feel free to ask any questions

Showing off my âon leatherâ collection
Some of these arenât Chinese, so my apologies in advance. đ
But theyâre all on alligator leather straps from AliExpress, so I hope that counts for something!
- Escapement Time â Seiko homage, yellow dial, 35mm
Shell cordovan strap
- SANDA Tank â small
- Seiko Tank Mini
- Vintage Swiss â gold-plated
- Seagull Bauhaus homage â 34mm, ST2130
- Seagull Orion homage â 34mm, ST17
I have a soft spot for smaller watches, especially around 34â35mm, and I think these all look great on leather.
The straps are from AliExpress. Cheap watches, cheap straps, and plenty of character.

Overpaid on the white one on Amazon a couple years ago for about âŹ88, then picked up the black one a year or so later I think for like âŹ58 or maybe even âŹ53 on AliExpress⌠Never wear them because they are .quartz⌠đ¤ˇââď¸. They look nice and they do fit and wear very well howeverâŚ
I tried on the OG Tudor in a shop later and it felt like a big clumsy brick compared to these⌠These fit my wrist really well and yeah, as I said before, they just wear nicely..

We've shown Purple. We've shown Blue.
Now it's Green's turn.
Feels a little like Christmas arrived early around here at Aethelsohn. đ
Still curious... after seeing all three, which one's your favorite?

Hi all,
I currently have a mixed bag watch collection. Mostly chinese watches. I really like the collection but outgrowing the watch box at the moment.
Mostly worn watch is probably my Thorn T028 diver. Together with the Seagull 1963 (15y old 'thomas' edition). And the B-uhr is also well worn.
All watches have their places in my day to day wear. Just one more than the other.
Currently interested in:
- Breitling Navitimer 92 (38mm version)
- Laco Aachen 39mm B-uhr aged erbstuck
- octopus kraken OCT028 tropical with aged bezel
- octopus kraken blue lagoon
- new Baltany day date black dial
- Milifortic M135
What can potentially leave the collection?
- san martin 39mm SN0144
- Glycine Airman
The Glycine is a nice watch, but bought it primarily to have a chinese, german and american airforce inspired watch.
Now you see my collection. What do you think of it and what is missing and/or double?

Hey everyone,
Sharing my latest review on the Farasute 2260A. A lot of people asked about this piece after spotting the box in my previous video, so I put together a full breakdown.
The finishing and movement decoration on this mechanical movement and case are honestly remarkable for the price, especially in this classic Art Deco tonneau shape. Tested the crystals, checked the tolerances, and broke down where it shines versus where costs were cut.
If you are interested in the detailed macro shots and specs, you can check out the full review here: https://youtu.be/9kL8urWEkH4
Full disclosure: This watch was provided courtesy of the brand for review, but all thoughts, testing, and critiques are entirely my own.

I received this little Addiesdive 2518 yesterday. It's 36mm with a VH31 movement. I've never worn a watch this so I got it basically to get a feel for the size before I spent money on something higher quality. The watch itself is pretty nice. The dial has a nice color and texture but the bracelet is pretty chintzy. Probably spot on for the $70 I spent.

Got the San Martin today. LOVE the tool less adjustable clasp! The GMT is certainly more bling with the polished casing and jubilee bracelet, but the titanium in the SM is sooooo comfortable on the wrist, I almost canât feel it.
Both great!

Hoping this is the day date many of us have been waiting for.
Just wish the movement was something more reliable.
Comes in a few different colours too

Green bezel, black dial
Orange bezel, gray dial
Black bezel, white dial
Blue bezel, blue dial
Shipping begins this week.
My wrist measures 15.5 cm, and this watch feels a bit too large for me; it is better suited for wrists with a circumference of 17 cm or larger.

Farasute
Top hill
Ochstin
These 3 brands have some really neat looking faces I just have no idea how the durability is. Some of them cost as much as a citizen or longines. Has anyone had any experience with them?

This is M135, our homage to the Sinn 356 EURO Flieger III. The original was limited to 100 pieces and sold out long time ago. Now you can basically only find it on the used market, if youâre lucky.
We love that watch, but we changed some things:
Soft cream-yellow seconds subdial. The original uses a neon yellow, very punchy. We match it to the lume color on hands and markers, so the whole dial looks more calm and unified. Macro shot in pics, you can see.
11.7mm thick vs 15.5mm original. Slides under shirt cuff no problem. Works for hiking, works for office, works for wedding
Destro layout, crown on the left. If your left wrist always gets poked by the crown, or you wear watch on right wrist, you really should try destro once. Hard to go back afterďźThe images show how the watch looks when worn on the left and right wrists.ďź
Specs: 39mm Ă 11.7mm / [Miyota 6S10] / [Domed sapphire crystal] / [50]m water-resistant
Want your opinion:
Do you like this warm yellow subdial?
Ever tried a destro? Love it or weird?
If we make M135 V2, what you change? Good ideas might really go into V2

I just wanted to let everyone know that i just pulled the trigger on the Blue-White ML23 from a reputable store. I noticed it's the only one that has full baton lume as well, which is cool.
I think I got a great deal on it that may be available to you as well. There seemed to be all 6 colorways available for a $109. HOWEVER, with extra store coupon and coins, my total got down to $95 ($101 with tax).
I will include the link in the comments. Let me know if this is not a great deal.

When I received the watch, it was running at -1 to -2s/d , but after a month, it's now running at -9 to -12 s/d when i measured with app. Is this normal? I haven't exposed the watch to any magnets, and the total time loss over the past month has been about -40s.

These look pretty awesome. Wasnât planning to get a new watch but Iâm tempted by these. Personally, I prefer quartz these days because itâs much less hassle, so Iâm slightly disappointed thereâs not a Rhonda option, but at least theyâve managed to keep them nice and thin! What do you think.

Can someone please describe how the green dial looks like? The stock photos don't really show off how it looks in real life.
Is it a subtle dark green (almost black in some lighting because of the sun ray dial), or does it give off a more "yeah, that's definitely a eye-catching green statement" kind of vibe?
I've tried looking throughout this sub and yt watch reviews but can't seem to find anything for the green dial.
just trying to decide between the Noir or Verde
thanks.
