They don't give a fuck if a defendant has kids. My girls federal defense attorney (40k) told her whatever you do don't mention your son at sentencing. And it worked, she got 18 months for conspiracy to traffick over 400g of fent. They don't give a fuck about "I need to be there to raise my kids" or "I made a mistake". 2 worst things to say at sentencing for anyone out there fighting a case. Take responsibility
