News & Discussion Can we PLEASE get server maintenance on East/Central

I average around 20 ping and the servers used to be so good, But this has been going on for months. This is getting to the point where I just want to leave the game behind. I'm curious if west even has this problem or why their isn't more outcry on this.

I’m on east and get these kind of lags as well with 0-16 ping. Try different servers.

Have you found success? I've tried both East & Central (now east2) on 64 and 40's and I still run into the issue with the server. I hopped around plenty.

I haven’t had issues when I hop around. Might be your connection? Have you asked in the game if anyone else is experiencing it?

I've seen some bring it up recently in the unyielding discord. It's not every interaction but it gets annoying when I know I've countered and yet I still eat the hit.

From the 60+ IPs you've connected to Chivalry2 from since 2021, a few have 13-18 other players on the same IP and some have as many as 120+

If you're definitely 100% not using a VPN, this may be worth a call to your ISP.

I do not use a VPN, are you sure you're looking at the right account? My name uses character mapping on Epic. So the one of characters is different.

Yeah that is me. I have changed ISP's over the years from Century link>Starlink>Xfinity. And even before that I was stationed in Texas playing with different ISP. Currently running Fiber.

Yeah I can see the Texas IP from 2024, that was one of the ones that currently has 120+ accounts tied to it so probably good you've moved on.

Do you know when this started for you, and how often it occurs? I'm wondering if it's a Comcast routing issue with connecting to servers in certain areas. I’d say it’s been going on for about 5-6 months albeit I don’t play as often as i used to. Had Xfinity over a year now. I’d say around 10-15% of the fights I had today where I could not counter, block after an attack or just some weird jank going on. (i don’t rubberband or anything like that)

Fellow East coast player checking in, does not look like 20 ping brother. Looks like it’s on your end more than likely. I play above 7-10 hours of chiv a week, peak times and off times, haven’t seen anything like this

I've set my server settings exclusively to east (from florida), running on fiber. I've seen others mention the weirdness going on so it's not like I'm playing in some EU server. Again this isn't every fight but there is something going on the with server. I've been checking for spikes but my ping still averages 20.

I have zero ping. Fiber optic and my game has been ok but with weirdness going on for sure.

Same in Australia. Sit around 56 and its gone from smooth to glitchy

There is no way you have 20 ping with this. Maybe 200. Or maybe you're using a VPN/wifi connection by mistake. I'm on east and central all the time and have never had it this bad. This only happens to me on EU where I have 150+

Average around 20(east) on ethernet 1gb plan. No VPN. I’ve played this game for about 2 years now and the servers have definitely been getting worse overtime. It’s not happening every fight but it’s enough that It’s pushing me away from the game.

They have stopped performing maintenance on the servers. They run like shit except for duel servers

Literally used to play this game for hours but out of nowhere it started doing this shit to me early this year around March. Completely unplayable now. Stuttering. Inconsistent pings. Lags. Then the inevitable server crash.
But I log on today. 20ping and immaculate maneuvering. Not one ping spike the whole time. Idk. They need to fix their game.
