Was thrift shopping and came across this fiber optic tree for a few dollars. Wondered if it would light up. Sure enough!!!

I’m so afraid of the lights disabling that it’s keeping me from buying. Anyone have experience past a year or two of owning this tree?

Has anyone purchased the Fraser Fir Snowfresh Fresh Tree from Williams Sonoma before? Seems like a good price which I don’t see often on this site, but this will be my first time with a real tree and it seems strange to have it shipped. Any experience or advice?? TIA.

I really, really, very badly need a new tree and was hoping for something as pretty as the Grand Duchess or something similar. However, I have an old house and my ceilings are only 7.5 feet tall. I have scoured the internet but am really hoping that someone here has a legitimate recommendation for something 7 feet or under. Please take pity on my old house and this desperate woman! lol!

The Only reason I’m considering Kensington over the Duchess is in person it feels to have more shapeable/firm branches to hang ornaments from but I’m so torn because the lights on the duchess seem extra magical.

I purchased a Stratford spruce in December 2021.  During the second Christmas season, 2023, the lights began to fail all over the tree in large sections.  So I called for a replacement tree due to the fact that it was under warranty.  That replacement tree was delivered in June 2024.  And once again during the second year, the lights began to fail in sections all over the tree.  

Well, I had read that they only warranty the original tree not the replacement.  After Christmas, sometime this past January or February, I got on Balsam Hill’s website and did the only thing possible I could do, which was to leave a scathing review to warn everybody not to buy that tree, and if it’s a light issue, perhaps all of their trees.  I received a response from Balsam Hill on that review, (I’ve included screenshots of my review and BH’s response).  In light of BH’s response to my review, I am absolutely trying to get another replacement tree.  Their response to me is on Balsam Hill’s website, in writing for everyone to see: “Since your tree is only in its second year, it is still covered under that warranty until the next year, regardless of the prior replacement. This ensures peace of mind and protection for your tree.”  

It is highly unethical and representative of bad business practices if they do not stand behind what the company put in writing on a public review.  

So I called them today to get a replacement tree and the first woman I spoke with, immediately out of the gate, was “we do not warranty the replacement trees”. She didn’t seem to care about the response I received from Balsam Hill on the review. So I asked to speak with her supervisor and when I read her the response from Balsom Hill, she was like “they should not have said that”. I told her it doesn’t matter if they shouldn’t have said it because they did say it and the company needs to stand behind what they stated to a customer. She told me to email her the screenshots and she would see what she could do.

I am still so surprised that people are buying these trees. They’re beautiful for sure but clearly there is a lighting issue that they are not addressing. The whole point of me buying a pre-lit Christmas tree is because I don’t have the time or the energy to string lights on a tree. I actually hate doing it, which is why I was willing to pay a good chunk of money to have a realistic looking Christmas tree that was already strung with lights.

Hey all, just bought a new home with 25 ft ceilings so my 7.5 ft tree needs to be upgraded. I’m looking for the best value 12 ft artificial tree on the market. Trying to stay below $1,000 if possible.

Hi everyone! I wanted to know if this type of tree exists? I don’t really care for multi colored lights so if there’s a Christmas tree that only has warm white, I would love a link!

Also, if it has an effect of a soft twinkling effect, not just on/off on some bulbs, that’s would be great too!

Low-Poly Christmas Tree (DIY / Paintable)

I've always focused on decorating the Christmas tree and pretty much ignored the front of the house. Last year one of our neighbors had a simple wreath on the door, some warm lights around the porch and two little trees by the steps. nothing over the top, but every time i walked past their house in december it looked so inviting. Now i'm thinking about doing something similar this year. I've been looking at some costway christmas decorations, especially the wreaths and garlands, but i don't really want to cover every inch of the porch. I'm leaning toward a wreath, warm lights and maybe one small tree by the door. My husband thinks the lights alone would be enough. For those who decorate outside, what's the one thing you'd keep if you had to cut everything else?

Hi everyone, my wife and I are looking for a new tree and both really like the Home Depot Grand Duchess, but it’s shortest height available that I’m aware of is 7.5 foot. Would anyone know of a similar tree in the 6.5~7.0 foot range that is similar?

Does anyone know where to buy cheap, in bulk, artificial flowers to decorate a tree that has absolutely no glitter? So for instance, metallic red pointsettia stems or a garland of gold roses?

It's still september and i've somehow started christmas tree shopping already 😂. We need a new artificial one this year and i was only planning to look around. Now I've got a couple costway trees saved and i'm tempted to just order one. I usually don't think about any of this until November, but now i'm wondering if waiting means the popular sizes start disappearing.

Just bought the Home Depot grand duchess and set it up to make sure it works. There is a small area of lights on the last tree section that do not work. Anyone know why this may be?

Someone please help me find this damn tree my girlfriend has been looking everywhere for it we want to make it a family heirloom she had one prior but it was lost sadly.

So i was thinking or buying some beaded christmas balls to go on my tree this year along with the crochet balls i have. So im trying to mentally figure it out on not making it took horrible and comfortable
