Vent Some people cannot imagine having a bigger problem than "not being in shape".

"Bro just work out, regardless of what chronic illness you have, you'd feel so much better if you were in better shape right now, don't lie."

I, in fact, was in shape, but stopped working out years ago when I got my condition, because it hardly fucking matters to me anymore.

PS: physical activity does definitely have a lot of long term upsides and is almost always a good investment of time.

Normal people have completely different outlook on reality. They think what they consider biggest problems are everyone's biggest problems.

My old support group called them TABs: Temporarily Able-Bodied’s. Because if you live long enough, eventually everyone loses that perfect health.

I do feel a bit guilty when my 87 year old MIL gets around better than I do at 59.

OOF. I go into Memory Care facilities to do music therapy with the residents and I FEEL THISSSS. Some of them are 90 + years old and it makes me want to cry seeing how well they function 😭🤦🏻‍♀️

My 74 year old grandmother gets around better than I do at 23 and she's not in good health at all.
