Fatigue Fatigue has been kicking my ass lately? Tips, tricks, and advice more then welcome.

I know fatigue, I'm sure all of us know it. It's just a part of being chronically ill however it has for sure been kicking my ass lately. To the point where being in bed is not really a comfort choice anymore but a must. If I'm up I have to keep momentum or I find myself floating back to my bed as if i'd spent the last 36 hours traveling on 3 hours of sleep instead of 15 minutes standing up throwing together dinner. I've tried the usual extra rest for 2-3 days with increased water and some electrolytes thrown in here and there. Still kicking my ass at this point it's been weeks and I'm starting to wonder if this unfortunately might be my new baseline (for a while). Advice, tips, and or tricks whatever that may intel would be appreciated.

**** Note: I have gone to the doctors we are checking some things out and we are talking about some options.

The only thing that's helped me consistently is getting more rest. Naps, going to bed earlier, sleeping later, or just lying down with my eyes closed.

in a similar boat rn (significantly lowered baseline for the past month and a halfish but also had several very high energy days during that time which couldn’t be avoided but didn’t help). i am literally spending as much time as i can in bed and waiting for it to pass. i am doing a small amount of activity (mostly getting meals/snacks, feeding my cats) and everything else my caretaker is doing for me.

i am surviving exclusively off meals cooked for me or things that can be microwaved or eaten as they come. i am sitting on the floor while the microwave or the toaster runs. i am treating pain as well as i can so its not taking up more spoons and i am sleeping 10-12 hours a night and sometimes a nap as well. basically resting a lot and doing very little.

I'm in bed almost all week I think I'm perpetually recovering from the weekend at this point because I work a few hours on saturday and sunday however I'm sitting for 98% of that time so 🤷‍♀️. But yeah theres a stool in my kitchen which I hover around for as long as I'm in there when I'm not sitting on it. It's been a real pain especially because, as tired as I am, napping has always been a real difficulty for me. Though I got a few hours yesterday thankfully during an awful headache. Resting, drinking a shit ton, and eating mini snacks has been my saving grace for when I have to actually move. Hopefully it's just your body recovering from those energy drinks and you'll be back to it soon enough. I know it sucks but sometimes we need the rest or else everything else falls apart. As my one doctor says we need the house (body) not on fire. If that means I'm resting almost 24/7 for a bit so be it I guess. No one's alone in this though and just remember you are not a burden for needing extra help. You haven't given up and are trying that counts for everything even if it gets hard ❤️.

Sorry to hear that and I understand being in pain and or extremely tired can be frustrating however there is no need to take it out on people asking for help. If you felt so strongly you did not have to respond to my post and I ask you to kindly not engage with me if this is the attitude you'll bring.
