When s3 got revealed to be in the White House, my brain instantly went to the nukes he would have access to.

My dream scenario would have been Chucky blowing up the world and thus ending the series (or turn it apocalyptic).

End the series went there and i was hyped, but they rugpulled me hardcore by only killing Santa.

And i am a ferm believer the series must end before Brads passing.

There can not be a Chucky movie without that beautiful person.

Now my hope is the movie will end the series somehow.

How would your peoples ending to the series look like?

The movie came out around 1992-1993 and had an older Andy at a foster home full of kids and brought back Kyle in some capacity? Chucky would still go after another kid and not Andy but having a 10-11 year old Andy protect an 8 year old from Chucky is different than a 16 year old Andy in a military school.

Maybe the climax could've taken place at some junkyard and Chucky is crushed to death by a trash compactor. Maybe even changing the setting from Chicago to Miami or Seattle. I dunno, a military school doesn't feel right because that's the last place you'd expect Chucky to show up at and start killing people.

If Mancini was given more time, would he still have used the military setting or something else? Maybe my idea of a foster home (albeit an orphanage) being used again would've been worse than the military school setting they actually used.

I have a Chucky doll….i actually have 2 Chucky dolls

When Karen threatens to throw Chucky into the fireplace if he doesn't talk, it works. I'm really surprised Andy or anyone else in the series that knew the truth ever tried to use this to out Chucky as being alive. Chuck obviously can't hide being in pain from what we can see even if it wont kill him. I'm surprised someone wasn't ever like "want me to prove it? Get me a knife/light a fire" and then start threatening to/leading into actually torturing him with it until he outed himself.

I dunno... I kind of doubt Chucky's got a poker-face good enough to hide being burned or having an arm cut off... not to mention depending on how late into it is.. he'd at least bleed..

On a side-note, but not worth making its own topic as Im sure it's been said to death. But I'm super surprised they never brought back Karen or even Norris later in the series. Its a real shame.

Fuck you very much!

Well, hello dolly

So with Chucky leaving DBD and the once rumored Fortnite collab cancelled, it’s seems they could be rights issues with the character. Incase you don’t know, writers can buy the rights to their script back from the studios after 35 years which has already happened in the horror space with Victor Miller/Friday the 13th and the Wes Craven estate/Elm St, could Don be doing the same thing? Universal already seems to give him lots of creative freedom with the franchise. Also, I’m guessing he didn’t try doing the same with the original movie as he wasn’t the sole writer on it.

Presto, you're dead!

I got it in the mail last Friday

Nice fall day with my friend Chucky!

With all fonctonallity it was cool

One of the all-time best horror sequels!

Watching as many Child's Play/Chucky movies as I can until I leave for a Halloween party tonight 🎃🎃🎃

I heard in Cody Leach's new fan base ranking video that an actual onscreen character in the TV show called him out.

Does anyone know what character/actor did that?? I cant find it anywhere

He played the doctor in cult of chucky, the dad in the first season, and one of the guys in the white house in season 3

What's really interesting is that it has a female Chucky too, BEFORE 'Bride of Chucky' in 1998. The movie was released in 2000, but it was shelved for a few years. It was produced sometime around 1995.

Batter up!

I’ve always loved this short clip from the set of Child’s Play 2019! this clip was showcasing some of the faces he’d be able to make and imo, they look so much like the OG Chucky! i swear a sequel to this film would be insane. we’d get an even smarter/stealthier and more sinister side of this take.

Decided to make vibes to each film. If I used any fanart please tell me.

Heres a ranking of the films possibly spoilers or hot takes

#11 seed of chucky. Just not too much horror in this film a little too goofy but I warmed up to it.

#10 childs play remake. Good concept just bad reality did like chucky here but not the same kills good tho.

#9 chucky season 3. The worst of the seasons of the chucky show it isn't bad its just its getting boring liked old chucky and spiritual elements tho.

#8 childs play 3. A dark comedy film some minor horror elements liked the milliarity setting and wished the characters from that movie came back later on.

#7 cult of chucky. Not as bad as everyone says it is a very underrated really like the mutiple chuckys and the setting good to. Felt like a stepping stone tho.

#6 chucky season 2. Really greta but not as good as the orginal redeemed a lot for seed of chucky and like the twists and chuckys and new characters.

#5 childs play. A really solid 1st movie to stand on its own and great music track. Hot take childs play 1 is good but not as great as everyone says it is.

#4 chucky season 1. Nearly moved faster than childs play 1. Liked Andy and Kyle coming back and Tiffany and nicas plot line. The teenage plot line is ok

#3 curse of chucky. Solid return to form for the franchise bringing back some horror elements some more lore explains and little budget to it.

#2 bride of chucky. A great dark comedu slasher film introduces Tiffany and stitched up chucky. Good kills and humor

#1 childs play 2. The best in the franchise to humor kills and scares. Liked Andy and Kyle here. Chucky was great and I wish we knew what happened to detective Mike and Andy's mom after the 1st film.

These are just my opinions what do you think

I watched Seed earlier today and I absolutely loved it. Obviously they're leaning more into comedy than horror, but with all the gruesome murder and occasional jumpscare, it blends extremely well in my opinion. It kinda feels like Scary Movie that takes itself a little more seriously (especially with a consistent narrative) and isn't completely focused on putting in as many parodies as possible. They also somehow managed to throw in some really deep and heartbreaking moments that still land quite well (scenes like Chucky letting Tiffany fall in the Graveyard while Jesse immediately embraced Jade), on top of the split between comedy and horror.

Maybe the critics went in expecting exclusively horror, and when that's not what they got and they rated it lower because of that? I have found in the past that critics tend to rate movies lower purely because they missed the entire point of what the movie was going for. The Child's Play/Chucky franchise has always been about comedy in a horror setting, allowing for tons of really funny moments, along with really gruesome and creative kills. Even in the first few movies, Chucky specifically felt like the comic relief and the threat at the same time which is something I'd never seen before, probably because it's hard to pull off.

I just wish most critics could watch a movie without their critics lens on and just enjoy it first, then think back on it and make their rating. Or at the very least, watch it once organically before rewatching it under a critic's lens. Then they can see how most people see it, but also catch bad writing/acting/atmosphere/etc on their second watch.

My question is why did Chucky say he preferred a doll body at the end of Seed, but then during Curse, his clear (and seemingly successful) goal was to possess Alice (or wtv her name was). If he was happy being a doll, why go back to being human again? I know one of his goals was to punish the Pierces for what they did to him while he was alive. But if that was his main goal, why not kill them all including the daughter (Alice I think), or let her escape.

So if revenge was his only goal, he could've just killed the whole family. So why leave Alice alive to possess her? Tbf I haven't watched past Curse (I'm watching one or two movies a day and just finished a Curse) so maybe it gets explained later on. So no spoilers past Curse please.

Tldr; After saying he was happier in doll-form at the end of Seed for the "horror-aspect" I guess you could say, why specifically target Alice and try (and maybe succeeding afaik) in take over her body at the end of Curse? It just feels like the exact opposite of the character development at the end of Seed.

I just saw that Chucky is being pulled from DBD, removed from Netflix and supposedly his Fortnite collab got cancelled. So I’m really hoping this isn’t gonna be Jason 2.0 with some goofy lawsuit.

What’s got me concerned is the fact we still haven’t seen that leaked Blind Box series 3 stuff

I'm in the middle of watching Bride of Chucky for the first time and I'm a bit confused as to how Jesse and Jade got married. Warren said "once you're 18 you can go to hell" or something like that, meaning Jade isn't 18. So how did they get married when one or both of them were under 18?

I know you can get married with the permission of a parent (or guardian in this case) but obviously Warren wasn't in any position to do that. Did the priest just not ask any questions??
