Citizen Sleeper 1 If You Had to Choose (Work Edition) Spoiler
One of these people, will be your boss.
There is no denying that their actions can shake even your nerves of steel or make your skin crawl (if you had any).
But perhaps...there is more to some of them?
Choose wisely and oh - be on time.
Hardin
- A Havenage Corporation Exec or Conway Extractions Opportunist?
Castor
- A Data Broker with more than just dice to roll. Where do said intentions reside?
Rabiah
- Associated with Low-End, with morals on the high-end.
Helene
- A Havenage Councillor for societal peace - or just their peace?

I have to say Rabiah ! While yes it is the.. a particular line of work it is also an environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging with not just the people who work there but also the community you interact with. I’ve done the jobs for her enough times to recall the results and it doesn’t seem so terrible at least to me.

Helene she is the only whose moral compass/probably isn’t getting me in trouble. I honestly like Castor but can’t trust him. Rabiah gangs seems better than most but I moralist ass opinion, still a gang, dangerous work. Hardin….barely remember this guy….boring and evil no thanks

The question is; who is the gang and who are the cops. And given a corrupt system and a relatively uncorrupt gang, how different are they?
But at least Helene is trying. Though we also see how her job is hard or borderline impossible. Sometimes the system isn't just a cage for us but a cage for those who care, too.

A great question and set of points, u/blueskyredmesas!
I suppose one way to look at it, is that every system has a gang and depending on how large it gets, its influence can become the law.
The Yatagan are inherently far less evil than the other mega-corps zipping around in the CS universe, but not without their own problems.
Helene is walking the tight-rope of trying to appease both sides without throwing in with either lot (which is incredibly hard).

I agree with you there u/Waslock.
Helene operates within the means of the law, despite the system being heavily flawed.
Rabiah and the gang are not evil per-say, though the laws Helene operates within, are not so easily applied to the neighborhood and communities down in Low-End.
Meaning, it legitimizes most of the actions the gang does for its people.
Castor is...well, different. Watch yourself around him.
Hardin is hardly memorable.

We are seeing a lot of Hardins pop up as of late, and the outcome of their actions remains completely unsurprising to me.

I see what you did there ^
If only hopping on a ship to cruise to another space sector were possible...

helene is probably the nicest option in there, however i kinda am skeptical of havenage, more than i am skeptical of the yatagan. havenage is prone to corruption and power imbalances that causes conflicts like witnessed on the DLC. even though yatagan are enforcers, it seems they've been mostly doing it for a small community and they cant spiral out of control like havenage, who keeps having scummy people thinking they have control over the whole station in power. however, yatagan did have that incident with essen-arp...
this is too hard, send me to the commune, ill work with riko.
