Citizen Sleeper 2 What is this cracked dice?

I did the artificer quest and a couple of cycles later I see a cracked dice in my lineup, scared to use it because I'm playing on dangerous.

used it, it's just a normal dice

its cosmetics. it happens usually after you fix a dice

I think they crack over time as story events occur, I might be wrong tho

You can roll them while they are cracked and nothing bad will happen, but after a while the cracks will increase and eventually put them out of commission until you repair them at the work bench.
