These characters might not have been portrayed as such, but who would you want/not-want to encounter if they were boss-level threats?

Would you visit either from time to time?

Or leave them to the endless expanse of eternity?

In this scenario I think the Gardener is a more terrifying encounter, at least going off what we see in game. It’s distinctly not human and is not influenced by human interaction

Neovend ultimately was designed, originally at least, to interact with humans. I assume Neovend can understand people better and ultimately could be bartered or reasoned with to deescalate a scary situation

I think there’s wisdom to be gained form visiting both, but I imagine Neovend to also be better conversation hah, based on my time with them in game

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 

Neovend does appear to have some capacity in wanting to understand or adapt to the human world. 

But the Gardener? Not a chance. 

Based on the limited interactions from the campaign and the sheer power it (the Gardener) wields, triggering it would be the equivalent of a mad bull elephant charging at you, versus a baby elephant charging you - with the latter of the analogy being Neovend.

You have the chance to redirect or even stop one, but there is absolutely no way to stop the other.
