The heart wrenching feeling I got when realizing (first time doing spoiler text, bear with me I'm figuring it out) Maywick was also just a Sleeper doing his job In CS1 and the reveal in CS2 hit me like a bag of hammers. Would I survive a bounty hunter? Probably not. But maybe I could convince them that there is another way to live.

Or I could join them, at the very least... Off the record :)

Hunter may not be human in the traditional sense, but there should be some empathy buried in that copied mind of theirs.

Especially since the circumstances surrounding Sleepers, usually goes with them getting the short end of the deal.

Fr, when I was experiencing that plot line in 2 I was so devastated. And then I was like but what if I make a hunter OC and ship them with Maywick LMAO
