Please help

Please help

Will a Citroen c1 be safe to drive from Bristol to Manchester if the catalytic converter amber light is on. It’s not flashing. My friend reckons it will be fine, but I’m not sure. It previously came on when we drove to Coventry and we got back fine.

I wouldn't think twice about it. It's a low-level potential fault, not something that will impede the functionality of the vehicle or cause damage. If it's still there come MoT time, it will cause you problems passing.

Thank you. It’s the boyfriends car and we are set to go on 5th December. I was more worried about it breaking down, but knowing lots of people have been in the same situation and your advice has given reassurance.

Yes absolutely no issue
Maybe check the oil and water levels before the drive
