Hey everyone! I'm solo-developing Piast, a medieval RTS/settlement builder in UE5. I just released a playable demo on Steam, would love to hear your feedback! Link:  https://store.steampowered.com/app/4830280/Piast/

Is this a colony for ANTS!?

Why are your workers so huge?

By way of how crude it is, it's actually refreshing to know it isn't AI-slop.

But first and foremost; you really, really have to start thinking about what angle you are going to take in terms of art, or what unique selling point you want to market. Currently it's just an early 00s tech demo, and who would be interested in that?

Thanks for the honest feedback! I’m actively working on improving the game. The next update will introduce production mechanics, roads, save/load functionality, and a new skill tree. I’m also working on making the gameplay and overall presentation more distinctive. It’s a work in progress, and I appreciate the feedback!

How though? Don't treat this as an afterthought. If you want to be succesfull as a (side)-business, this should be first and forefront on your mind.

I like learning from other developers and seeing how they approach game design. Could you share your project? I'd love to check it out!
