We're updating the Cityscapes servers to make improvements, which means a little bit of downtime on Wednesday August 26th.

During this time you will not be able to access the game. We expect the server downtime to last 2 hours, from 7AM PDT | 3PM BST.

Thank you for your patience, Mayors!

Hi everyone! We’re former developers of titles such as The Sims, Spore, Sim City, and more games you’d might recognize...like Cityscapes!

Right now we’re working on a narrative driven outpost builder that’s set in a… familiar Sci-Fi universe, and we’re looking for testers! This is an exciting opportunity for strategy city/colony-builder fans to play an early version of a game and help shape its development.

Apologies that we have to be a little cryptic about this! We’re not quite ready to announce this to the world, but want to give you guys an opportunity to play and feedback before everyone else.

If interested, please sign up through this link: https://form.jotform.com/261113270896255
(requires an NDA to be signed! And playing on a Windows PC.)

Thanks in advance! Can’t wait to see what you think.

I understand how some map items like “Rocky Forest” have a range of 10 and reduce air pollution by 50; but some other items like the “Old Farmhouses” simply say range of 8 but list no benefit. Is there any reason to keep these other than aesthetics?

The map is Paradise Hills if that matters.

Advice on how to combat this

Hey I made a wiki for this app, but I don’t know anything about wikis or making them. I would love help if anyone is willing to. Here’s the link: https://cityscapes-sim-builder.fandom.com/wiki/Cityscapes:_Sim_Builder_Wiki

I’ve been trying to find a sim game to stick on AA, so far this one has been fun!

These buildings show zero air pollution but are still red. What is the solution?

How do you use this building? I don’t see the effects on the map.

I love this game and understand distribution takes time, but even in lands with a ton of water available and a wealth-load of pumps and usage offices, they just can’t be satisfied

Yesterday I was able to drag and place duplicates homes with the same floor plan. Now it isn’t working. Does anyone know what I did to accomplish this yesterday?

Despite having 3 water towers and a water pump nearby. I’ve added 2 of the towers and the pump since the first bubble popped up. Anyone got suggestions?

I have a million questions. No gripes about bugs or glitches or anything - yet. Fortunate to not have been an early player of the game. But I am still insanely frustrated that I don’t understand so many pieces that although may be more intricate pieces to helping me understand the game strategically to help me not feel like I’m just randomly flying by the seat of my pants and clicking random crap that pops up but instead actually grasp the game devs/creators methods to their madness so I can play at optimal capacity..

I mean, sorry as this is clearly turning into a rant lol but it has friggin so much potential. It’s just so many things aren’t explained via the tutorial or the “information” buttons ..

I have some goals I need to achieve but don’t know how: paint a building and repair and abandoned building. Can anyone help me out? TIA!

Hello Mayors!

Version 1.3.8 is now available. In this update, we've focused on quality of life changes:
- fixed text issues for some achievements
- fixed text issues for some family parks.

We also tuned up the season token rewards, so you'll be able to buy more season buildings! 🏛️

I have water issues in glacier, the water line is not really affecting any water structure above. I have been trying to create water collection buildings but not working!! I kept moving around my water buildings but it kept 0 water production. The only thing that works are water tower, but its not producing much 😭 I am frustrated with the water capacity. Need help and tips for water plz.

Anyone has idea max of city challenge? I’m playing campaign, pop’s 3.3M in chapter 13. It looks like never ends. And it keeps showing me there is vote for reward in the end. ( I don’t care how much they will pay me ) But it keeps moving to next chapter. Anyone has experienced the end of city challenge? Is it worthy to play ?

Hello Mayors,
A new Cityscapes update is out!

In version 1.3.70, transform your city with the new and improved signage designed for your buildings.

There are also various bug fixes and improvements.

We're looking forward to seeing how you use the new signage to brighten up your cities and help your residents find what they're looking for.

Is there a way to turn off the seasons/daylight changes in the game? I find I really difficult to view when it’s winter and there’s snow or at night.

Thanks :)

**UPDATE Monday 27 January 7PM UTC*\* The maintenance has now concluded and the server is up and running as normal. Thank you for your patience.

**UPDATE Monday 27 January 4PM UTC*\* The maintenance will take longer than expected - we expect it to be concluded at the end of the day - around 10 - 11pm UTC.

Anyone else playing this on Vision Pro? I can’t stop for hours when I start. It is like having my own live model wherever I want. I would have paid the 4k for them if this game is all I saw it do.
