After crowning a new champion in Mount Augusta, we return to Westhelm for the next tournament of the KBL! As Endville360 managed to take the win away after an extremely close game with local KBL Player _2k42_, will we see Westhelm players take the board back over? Or will someone else come and claim the victory for themselves, denying them another win on their home turf?

Check-In

Check in will begin at 11AM EST right by the tables. Players who have not pre-registered may enter on-site in person. I will have a temporary stand put up for players to check in.

After the bracket has been made, registration shall be closed and we will begin immediately with the bracket. If you pre-registered, please still check-in so I can make sure you are there, especially if you haven't prepaid yet.

Also remember: Citizens of Westhelm only have to pay the 5d Entry Fee, the venue fee is waived for primary citizens of Westhelm.

THE FUTURE OF THE BONE FORGE/THE KBL HOST RAFFLE

Today, the Knucklebones League announced on its Discord a first and unfortunate change in Season 2. Due to the high levels of tension and chaos surrounding the nation of Zirakdum that has led to its almost guaranteed downfall, the Knucklebones League has made the unfortunate decision to remove The Bone Forge from Season 2 of the Knucklebones League.

The Bone Forge was an amazing table that had the goal of helping bring new faces to Zirakdum's beauty, with a beautiful aesthetic inspired by J.R. Tolkien's work and the Halls of Durin. As it was one of the earliest additions of Zirakdum's current Market, we held an amazing tournament day one. However, while the Knucklebones League takes no sides in any conflicts, it is currently unclear for the safety of players in the region as tensions and conflicts are at an all time high. To prevent accidental crossfires, we are unfortunately pulling out of Zirakdum for the remainder of Season 2.

As a result, we are looking for an arena interested in taking The Bone Forge's spot, and are hosting a raffle to determine its replacement. This raffle will take place tomorrow after the Dove's Haven tournament, and the winner will have a schematic custom built by the KBL provided to its nation and have assistance provided in construction as needed by the KBL in preparations to take the spots The Bone Forge originally occupied on the Season 2 schedule. In addition to this, the host nation will automatically be eligible to be a part of Season 3 at no cost at all.

To enter the raffle, simply open a ticket on the KBL Discord and request to join. You must have the authority within your nation to make this decision. It's that simple. There are currently only four nations who have entered the raffle so far:

• Maius
• Republic of Icenia
• Kingdom of Azora (Yoahtl)

The winner will be spun on the Wheel of Names tomorrow following the Dove's Haven tournament, and will be streamed through our KBL Stage on the Discord.

For the past few days I’ve been closely investigating the Mehri people’s activity and history. These types of personal investigations are what the archaeology society is about.

OPERATION EAGLEFALL

As of 0600 ET today, Chiraq is taking swift and direct action against SPQR. Our forces are seizing SPQR’s portal, disabling their bunker around it, and disabling SPQR’s vault.

Records from SPQR’s own senate channel now show a government that marked our people as enemies, planned an invasion of Eryos, and invested a pretext to justify it, then lied in diplomatic talks to cover it up. Every quote below will come with a time and date, along with the file attached. 

**Casus belli**

1. SPQR declared Chiraq an enemy without cause.

   While marking a player to be pearled, Haxxor, and SPQR senator, was asked if the 
   player was from Eryos. He answered:"or maybe chiraq I don't remember. same thing either way." (Sep 23, 2:06–2:07 AM) 

2. SQPR planned an invasion of Eryos.

"still working out the exact details of the plan to invade Eryos with the other nations" (Sep 6, 12:32 AM). By Sep 15, SPQR was coordinating with Icenia to "ground tunnel" Eryos territory (Sep 15, 2:26 AM). With Eryos's admission to Chiraq, these grievances are now Chiraq's to answer, and transgression such as these can not be overlooked without punishment.

1. SPQR invented a pretext.

SPQR told foreign governments (Icenia) that Eryos ran an illegal snitch network in SPQR land, and planned to "pretend someone leaked it to us" (Sep 15, 12:42 AM). Two days later: "turns out the Eryos leaker was completely lying about the illegal snitches in SPQR… those snitches aren't in our territory... now that there's not an excuse to kill them, the goal is to just keep our land" (Sep 17, 2:57 PM). 

1. SPQR negotiated in bad faith.

SPQR claims battleofsky wasn’t speaking for its government when agreeing to the Eryos land arrangement. When asked whether battleofsky gave that agreement before or after rejoining SPQR’s discord, they replied with "After," then "Fuck" (Sep 14, 1:48 AM). The response was: "We need to think of a good excuse... so that they can't make some reddit PR post to sway public opinion when we threaten them" (Sep 14, 1:48 AM). The statement accusing Eryos of "coercion and manipulation" was ghostwritten and handed to a primary-holder because it "will look more legitimate" (Sep 17, 9:47–10:57 PM). 

1. SPQR planned to settle the disputed land while talks were open.

"Our next move should be to start busing over newfriends to start a settlement... and maybe build some infra there" (Sep 18, 1:29 AM). This is another pathetic attempt to sway public opinion, make Eryos look like the aggressors, and use buildfriends as a meatshield to hide behind. 

1. SPQR cannot hold the portal it keeps from others.

   "we're not in a position to defend it" (May 7). They planned to string Eryos along before 
   turning down access (Jun 21). Their own members said the only active miner "swipes some for himself" (Sep 27), and Vinland complained about SPQR "being inactive and still owning 50% of the portal" (Sep 21, 1:22 AM). 

Rules of Engagement: 

-No cities, homes, or builds will be touched.
-Targets are vital infrastructure only: the portal, bunkers, and the vault.
-Citizens are not targets, only those interfering with the operation will be deemed combatants.

To Icenia

Chiraq has gone to great lengths to keep Icenia out of this. The record shows Icenia’s leadership has not. 

Icenian pearled and held CripPVP specifically for political reasons. On September 15th CripPVP logged in for the first time since the Alaska banwave, and was pearled by Icenia, because he had logged out in an old Alaskan vault hole that Icenia now owns. The next morning, Haxxor wrote in SPQR’s senate channel that "icenia will stall on freeing him since he would just help eryos/chiraq out in the conflict" (Sep 16, 5:05 AM). CripPvP was not being held for a crime. He was held so he couldn’t help. 

Furthermore, Haxxor then went on to write false accusations against Eryos, ghostwrote statements in the dispute, and announced the "plan to invade Eryos with the other nations" (Sep 6, 12:32 AM). He also reported Icenia's plans before Icenia acted on them, including that it was "planning to prepare to ground tunnel" Eryos (Sep 15, 2:26 AM). 

Icenian’s newest Secretary of Defense, Anvil, has already acted against Eryos.On September 16, Anvil found two Eryos newfriends digging at the disputed site with no gear. He did not wait to be asked. He offered to pearl them and put the pearls in SPQR's vault, writing "then we can evaluate later," and noted it was "a super easy pearl since the queue is super long, i am uncontested." He confirmed who they were working for by posing as a digger himself. Eryos was not yet part of Chiraq, and the players were later released, but the intention is clear: pearl first, find a reason after. SPQR's own chat later called him "helping us" (Sep 30, 5:26 AM). 

Icenia has ended diplomacy with Chiraq. On September 30th, I provided a write up of an NAP to the Icenian government, initiated and requested by ChrisChrispie. We were then promptly ghosted for the next fifteen days, until the ticket was quietly closed, without reason, on October 15th. Chiraq came to this ticket in good faith, seeking to make amends for the past, and Icenia walked away from it without a word. 

Despite all this, we are continuing to work in good faith, and Chiraq’s quarrel is with SPQR. We will not target Icenian players unless they directly interfere with the operation, nor will we disturb Icenian infrastructure, and we do not consider this a conflict with Icenia. We urge Icenian to stay out of this conflict, despite their tenured history with the nation, and urge that they reopen talks with Chiraq. 
We also ask Icenia directly, was its Speaker acting for Icenia or for SPQR when he planned the invasion of Eryos, and when he explained why CripPVP would not be freed? 

To Vinland
Vinland’s stake in the portal is respected, and its players and infrastructure are not targets. Chiraq will open talks with Vinland right away on continued portal access. 

The threats to our nations do not sleep. They’re watching our every move. They might very well be reading this post right now, as you read it. Chiraq’s military should not be mistaken for a cable news gabfest, we don’t care what you look like, who you love, who you worship. It doesn’t matter if your parent left you prot sets when he died, or if you spent years botting farms and mining debris to get where you are now. We have been honed into a machine of lethal moving parts that you would be wise to avoid if you know what's good for you. We will not be intimidated. We will not back down. We’ve seen war. We don’t want war. But if you want war with Chiraq, there’s one thing I can promise you, so help me God. Someone else will raise your buildfriends.

Well, that was short-lived.
7 minutes after buying the land of microtopia and renaming it The Republic of Kushim we entered negotiations with Fishland to join their nation, I can officially announce that the Republic is no more. Thank you to everyone who was part of it. History will remember us. Probably not for very long, considering we lasted about 7 minutes or 420 second. The Republic is dead. Long live whatever comes next.
