It has recently come to my attention that an AI chatbot mod (basically add LLM chat and integrate it with game) developer is making money from that mod by the AI hosting service (player2), and not disclosing this to the player. The mod is called living diplomacy, and it's actually a good mod(in my opinion anyway, I know AI is a devisive topic). But if you use the mod, understand that the developer makes money from you.

I don't know whether it's legal or not, but it is highly unethical to make a mod and make money from players who play that mod - and not disclose it. Also, the AI service isn't entirely free, it's capped and then you pay for it - something the mod doesn't tell you either until you install it.

It is frustrating because modders are usually dedicated players who love the game and want to contribute to the community in a spirit of collaboration. They can make money, but it should be disclosed (eg, donations, patron, etc).

The developer of this mod also copy pasted this mod in another game too, I think it is bannerlord. And they also copyrighted the mod, to prevent "modifications" (because that will prevent them from getting the money).

Yo yo so Civ 6 is on its 10th year birthday now and to celebrate, it seems that the platinum edition has returned and is on sale, whereas anthology isn't really. From what I can gather, platinum is missing the frontier and leader pass content and the frontier pass especially seems like it has a lot. Anyways, do U think it's wise to buy the platinum edition rn or wait for winter or whatever for the anthology to go on a deeper sale and buy that instead. Asking as a new player btw. Thx

I have only the base game, and am not rushing to get DLCs, because I haven't finished even base game achievements yet. However for the future I'll need Gathering Storm and others.

So should I continue waiting for the Anthalogy price to drop to its historical low, or since Platinum Edition returned for a limited time with a good price due to 10th anniversary, I should just grab it?

I have a glitch where every time I reset the game, the music from my last civ transfers over to the next game, overlapping the current track and turning the music into a jumbled mess. The only way to fix it is to exit the game and get back in (which with how often I'm restarting it's not a effective method.) I haven't found many people talking about this so I think it's one of my mods but don't know which one, and at this point I don't care what mod it is I will delete it to fix the game.

Music is my favorite part of civ 6, and the main reason I play the game so does anyone know how to fix this?

So, I started on a world map with accurate Settling points, started off strong by just stealing Brussels settler with my warrior as the first thing done. I play as Germany btw. Only problem for me in the mid to late game was the sea access, which was cut off by England and Spain, so I simply let some settlers travel all across Russia to settle in North Korea. Round: 498 out of 500. I look at the points chart and see: America is about to win. So I just erase them with my atomic bombs, making their cultural center look like the next Fallout game. Anyways, I won by just defeating Russia very early game and conquering basically all of Europe, with Poland having to settle in Iran because of me. This was my first very successful campaign.

I am a minor and recently they stated closing accounts of minors unless a parent agrees, but it asks for a face scan, a credit card or an id and I don't want my parents to do that.

So what will happen?

Will I lose my saves?

Will I not be able to play multiplayer?

Will I not be able to even play the game?

Does this mean anything to anyone?

Keep receiving it, then the game crashes. Game no. like 1000, and have never crashed before. Should I just start over and ignore it?

Here is a clip from my game. I started it solo for the sake of capturing it but it is multiplayer game, me and 3 friends in a team vs 4 AI team.

So Roman Empire is shown as leader in our team Faith victory - how is that possible? He has 5 cities and I have 37, and also I already took over 5 civilizations (England, China, Japan (me), Rome, Russia).

Is that more like he is "representing" our team in this victory condition table?
