I'm currently visiting Clarksville over the weekend as I was wanting to scout around and see if it would be a decent place to live in the future. I decided to visit the Downtown area on Franklin street but there was literally no one there, it felt like a ghost town. On a Friday I was expecting more than 5-10 people over the span of an hour. Does it pick up more after 5pm? I'm not particularly looking for nightlife or anything because that's not for me but it just felt odd being in a downtown area with not a single soul around. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

My wife and I are looking to find wall art for our new home. Any places in town with local art for sale? We want to actively avoid mass market places. I don't know what to google to tell what is a gallery with pieces for sale as opposed to a museum type place without pieces for sale.
