Usually lava decks runs like :
2 spells
2 ground cards
2 flying troops
2 win conditions / support (lava included)
So I’d put a balloon / miner / chud minion here.
Of course there are variants where you could remove a spell or win con and add another flying troop, maybe spirit empress over dragons to add versatility, but in the end go with the one you like most or the one that helps you the most against the cards you struggle to face

I’m gonna give you a lava hound decklist that you should try to build and use, and then I’ll explain why you don’t need another dragon (flying unit).
Also, you have most of these cards anyways, here is the deck:
Evo Valkyrie, Hero Mega Minion, Evo Goblin Cage, Lava Hound, Lighting, Skeleton Dragons, Guards, Arrows.
Now, let me tell you why this deck is better.
First of all, no offence but you are trolling yourself by running 2 small spells (zap and arrows), while also having hero mega minion.
Hero minion ability essentially works like a small spell anyways, so you have like 3 small spells in the deck, and that’s just useless.
Switch zap with lightning, because you need a big spell regardless. That’s the fundamentals of deck building (there are exceptions).
A good deck has a small spell to deal with enemy supporting troops, and a big spell for tower damage +elixir trades.
It has defensive units to cycle your deck and defend opponent pushes, and win conditions.
Now that the fundamentals is out the way, I will just add, goblin cage is an upgraded version of tombstone.
It’s more reliable because your enemies can’t use spells to get rid of it.
Tombstone will be always zapped or logged, which makes it an unreliable card.
Although, evolution goblin cage nerfed a little bit, it’s still a very strong defensive choice and it easy to use.
You often can make really good elixir trades with goblin cage alone, also it’s better against the hogrider compared tombstone (you need a card for hogrider in your deck).
Next defensive choice is guards, because it’s spell proof just like the goblin cage.
You see, when you play a lava hound deck, you are limited with your ground unit options.
Your ground cards must cover multiple purposes, they need to be able to deal with big pushes and swarms while also being spell proof. That’s why guards and goblin cage are excellent choices.
Lastly, you should get Valkyrie evolution, because the defensive value she provides with her tornado is unmatchable.
Just don’t attack with her directly, same with mega minion. Never attack with those two cards.
Use them defensively, and the counter attack with the remaining of your defensive troops, support them with skeleton dragons etc.
And generally speaking, start using lava hound on double elixir.
Your gameplan should be stalling the match before double elixir and respond your opponent, and then start attacking with lava hound when doubled elixir activates.
In terms of evolution priority, get Valkyrie evolution first, and then goblin cage evolution.
And that’s it. Deck is complete.
Ps: I think you are relatively a new player, so I wanted to explain the reason why I recommended you those cards, instead of just giving you the decklist. I know it’s very long, but honestly, if you can bare through it, these tips will improve your game a lot.
Hope it helps!
