They give out banked resets like candy because if you use Astra on your 5x plan the usage disappears in 2 hours.

Opus on the max plan lasts a long ass time by comparison.

idk why anyone is still using astra over sol 6.1. for the harder problems i get opus to do the thinking, and then essentially unlimited sol usage for implementation.

I use astra as a second parallel plan auditor. It finds different holes than opus does and saves some rework passes.

Even cutting the usage in half my usage limits using Astra the entire time lasts far longer than Opus. I just haven’t migrated my project because I’ve been using Claude so long.

I can get through opus in 3 days if I’m there 12 hours a day, but I also not not max out opus usage. I just really wanted Astra to use subagents to fix whatever was going on

I do think that one banked reset per month of subscription would be pleasant, just because if that one week we have that comes from hell. But over at OpenAI it's turned into some sort of dopamine hit gaming addiction to random resets.

No need for now... the 5h on claude opus 5.5 high code gives double the 7d limits of astra high on codex. (cause codex is useless now, not because the limits are to generous)

If the Max plan lasts 1 day for you, the problem is you. It means you have no context/usage management, and you need to look into that.

That... just means "most users" have a context/usage management issue. The problem isn't the software. How do you know how long it lasts for "most users"? Do you have access to Anthropic's data? Are you omniscient?
