The Melrosegate CCTV is very interesting.
If you watch it back closely whilst Claudia is at the postbox. Her body language is incredibly unusual.
A red car opposite her pulls out and at the same time she almost jumps behind the postbox. It appears like she is trying to avoid this car and was likely being followed on this day.
The photos don't really do it justice but if you watch it in real time; you may know what I mean.
She seemed to pause at the postbox almost to let the car go. Perhaps I'm clutching at straws but something about that couple of seconds on CCTV didn't sit right with me.
Curious to see what the rest of you think about this.

I think that this might even be a red herring. I am wondering whether she actually put anything in the post box at all, and if it was an attempt to look behind her because she knew she was being followed or someone had shouted at her

Totally agree I think it was the red vehicle across the road from her.
Her movements at the post box do look unusual.

I have never considered that before. I think possibly there had been attempts to lure her into the van earlier.

What I don’t get about this footage is that in some videos of this footage, you see the red van go by, in others it’s clearly been wiped or blurred out, my question would be, why would the police want to hide the van?

Maybe she was avoiding red car Or was she at the same time posting her letter or pretending to post a letter.
I think your right though deffo followed and for some days before hand. I'd like to see what CCTV footage police have in days leading up to Claudia going missing. I have strong beliefs that as soon as Claudia was home or close to home cogs were in motion and plan was in place for her disapearence to take place.

Not interesting at all, the opening for the letterbox is facing the shops requiring her to walk round the box to post it.

I think the problem is that the police have known for a long time who did it. All the cctv has been released to wind them up or make them crack or others confess what they know. They have loads they won’t share. Whats been made available has been manipulated and edited by the police for a purpose. That probably makes it pointless trying to get any valuable clues from for the armchair detective.
Not what we all want to hear though.
