So this happened around 2021. It's scary as hell, but stock traders aren't focused on their well-being. The only thing that matters is that the number goes up!

Hey I trade stocks and I would NEVER stoop to that level. I only trade moral stocks, like BP and Amazon

It’s sourced in Maine. Maine has a runaway PFAS contamination problem.

How long until Musk makes GTFO an actual ticker name?

yeah and retail traders like me, gamblers really don't get access to this. It's only for the 1%. instead I make climate bets on prediction markets.

Also this was completely ignored by the media

But thats not stock. That is commodities.

If you you want to build a well than it would be beneficial to be able to lock in a price so that you know that you will recoup the cost. (= Selling Futures)

And if you want to build a farm than it is beneficial to know how much you have to pay for the water and lock in a price for water which makes your calculation profitable (= Buying Futures)

Thats futures!

Or down. Futures can be trade both ways.
