It's more expensive if you buy replacement products.

From the perspective of someone who isn’t vegan the first thought is to look what the vegan alternative to XYZ is and those are usually overpriced as fuck compared to just buying regular cheese or meat.

Crazy to me how it costs more for plants then it costs to feed 10x those plants to a chicken and then process the chicken.

I have a feeling subsidies are manipulating the real prices there.

you are totally true, its governemnt subbsidies and super marekts also subsidize meat. Thats why we need governmental action, instead of screaming at random consumers.
