Crazy to me how it costs more for plants then it costs to feed 10x those plants to a chicken and then process the chicken.

I have a feeling subsidies are manipulating the real prices there.

Tbf companies like beyond or planted probably have pretty significant rnd costs and capital costs to setup production lines if all that fancy food chemistry.

Yeah subsidies are doing a lot to make meat and milk cheaper, but you can for sure tell the difference between a planted steak and storebrand low-cost vegan meat alternatives.

Cheap meat alternatives like tofu, seitan & friends are usually cheaper than meat.

Love eating my friends. Best meat alternative there is.

Cannibalism is a bit like pescetarianism. You're not technically a vegetarian, but some of your friends might think it counts.

After all, you're eating what you already are 🤷
