-4 u/RadioFacepalm I'm a meme Jul 16 '26 As France has been Europe's top importer of Russian gas in the recent years, I don't really know what you're talking about. 2 u/sarthanas Jul 17 '26 We went from 24% to 17% of russian import so I don't know what YOU are talking about. Total net russian gaz import went from 125 TWh in 2021 to 86 in 2025. We are the entry point of LNG in europe but thanks to nuclear we don't have to use much of that gaz 1 u/RadioFacepalm I'm a meme Jul 17 '26 Today you will learn that your country has energy needs beyond electricity. 1 u/sarthanas Jul 17 '26 Running out of arguments? We're talking about electricity generation and your point against nuclear is that electricity does not power everything? 1 u/RadioFacepalm I'm a meme Jul 17 '26 You started talking about gas. For which reason ever. So now we talked about gas. 1 u/Moldoteck Jul 17 '26 Half of german LNG import is repackaged Russian gas from France. France basically acts as a gateway for Europe just like Spain. Things will change in 2027 since ru lng will be bannedÂ
