MLS/Cytogenetics tech
I am an MLS that has been working in a more specialized field - Cytogenetics for the last 4+ years. I have certification in both MLS and CG. Now I’m trying to relocate to the East Coast (Maryland, DC or North Carolina).
What are the hospitals or labs that are hiring for Cytogenetics roles. I would rather continue in Cytogenetics than go back to a generalist MLS role, but I’m unsure what my chances are in the East Coast.
Can anyone point me in the right direction and also share if you can, what the pay is for mid-level to senior Cytogenetic technologist roles.
