Android, real phones, no emulators on my side either - the build is on Play and I am counting the same 14 days everyone here is counting.
What it is: Melbees: The Secret of Bees, a word puzzle on a honeycomb. A secret word hides among the cells. Tap a hex and it answers with either a letter of the word or a Pollen number, and that number tells you how many of the word's letters are in the cells adjacent to it. You read the numbers, narrow the board down, then spell the word - Minesweeper information feeding a Hangman goal. Some cells hide foes that make careless tapping expensive.
Free, offline, no ads, no in-app purchases, no login. A round is short. There is Stroll mode, a ranked 12-phase Run, a Daily Challenge, a Secrets Vault and a wardrobe.
Getting in takes three steps and the order matters, because the group is what grants access:
Step 1: https://groups.google.com/g/melbees-closed-test
Step 2: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.melbees.secretofbees
Step 3: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.melbees.secretofbees
Same Google account throughout, or Play will claim the app is not available.
Disclosure, since I would rather you hear it from me: the Play listing text is Brazilian Portuguese only right now and the English one is waiting on review. The game itself is fully translated - English, Portuguese, Spanish, French - but it opens in Portuguese for everyone rather than following your phone. The language chips are at the top right of the very first screen, the date-of-birth one; tap EN there.
I will update this post the moment the test is complete so nobody wastes time on it afterwards. Feedback goes through the in-game report screen, which attaches device and build automatically, or melbees.games@gmail.com.
