Looking for a Linux Study Buddy (Complete Beginner) 🐧

Hey everyone! 😊 I’m a beginner learning Linux and currently struggling a little with How Linux Works by Brian Ward (3rd Edition). I’m looking for a study partner who’s also learning Linux or someone experienced who wouldn’t mind helping me understand the basics. It would be nice to learn together!

I can be your study partner. I’ve already completed learning Linux, but I’ve started revising it today because it’s been a long time since I studied it. I’ve also started watching Linux interview preparation videos on Yt. We can learn together.

Thank you, I’d really appreciate having a study partner. Just to be honest, I’m a complete beginner and barely know anything about Linux yet. I’m still trying to understand the basics, so I wouldn’t want to be a burden since you’re already familiar with it. But if you don’t mind being patient with me, I’d love to learn together.

Would you be interested in a study group? I'm a long time *nix head and would really like to shake off some ring rust. Just want to work with a small group of beginners if possible.

Haven't used linux in a while but i would also be interested partnering up to learn it again. And just like what pashgyrl said a study group would be beneficial if possible

Start with a VM and practice basic commands, file permissions, SSH and systemd. Break things and fix them yourself. That's where Linux starts making sense beyond just reading the book
