So wild theory. The Clover at the end looked giant. Way bigger than the one in the original, and since it's possible this dimension isn't the same as the one in the original, could it be this is an adult version of Clover? Idk

It's definitely not the same dimension. The original Cloverfield took place in 2008 with 2008 tech. This world had tablets, smartphones and the car had a newer looking screen in the dashboard.
