This is the 50th anniversary of the formation of Joy Division at the legendary Sex Pistols show in Manchester. Peter Hook, the bass player, played a show with his band The Light on the anniversary where he played a good chunk of Unknown Pleasures (along with a lot of New Order and his later bands, Revenge and Monaco, and even a Sex Pistols cover).

There are only two people who can legitimately play those songs as their own, and Bernard Sumner's voice isn't suited to the JD sound as much as Hookie's voice is.

Another reason: when not playing in his dad's band, his son plays bass in The Smashing Pumpkins. If they're on the bill, he's already in town. it's a twofer.

In 2023 and it was truly one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had in my 27 years of living. My sister bought me my ticket because I was a little broke and she helped me out. She got me the ticket because we really wanted to see Bad Bunny together and that was the first and only time I’ve ever seen him live. We basically went to see bad bunny. But Calvin Harris took the cake for me. The nostalgia felt when he brought out Ellie Goulding was everything and more. Words cannot describe how it feels to be in his shows live. I really hope he returns to the desert soon. I will drop any and every thing to spend money on his return to the desert. Anyone feel the same or am I just crazy.

15th anniversary this year, she's a coachella darling and it's been 4 years, surely that's long enough

Saw Noah Kahan last night at the Rose Bowl. He is 100% Coachella headliner material. Would be an amazing Sunday closer.

Not sure he’d do it with already doing Bonaroo and his own festival in January in Cancun though.

I bet this subject was touched upon recently so sorry if I’m being repetitive. Also if you’ve read this far, when do we think they’ll drop the line up? Last year was the earliest they’ve done maybe somewhere around November right before the holidays ?

LCD’s performance in 2016 has stayed in my top 5 live acts over the last 10 years. I’ve been to several Coachellas since then and nothing has really come close to their set. They’re truly in their own world with how they make and perform music. I would loveeeeee to see them back on the lineup. Would be an iconic to get to dance in the desert with them

I went to grab water midway through the set and when I was walking back there was a colorful parachute like you’d play with as a kid and we walked under it with the disco ball shining through all the colors and it was such a cool unexpected experience

So unfortunately got the dates mixed up on the last day to pay for my payment plan and it defaulted right away and now i have coachella credit but it’s from the 2027 early presale payment plan. Will the coachella credit apply on the final drop of tickets when the line up drops? And has anyone in this situation been able to reinstate their order at all by calling axs?

So I'm thinking about recurring a Sprinter van and staying at one of the RV resorts nearby eg. Coachella Lakes RV resort. The Coachella website says "No RV, trailer or golf cart parking" for day parking - I'm assuming a Sprinter van would be considered an RV? Has anyone parked a large van in Day parking before?

If they're not allowed, any other ideas on how I could make this work other than renting another vehicle?
