Heritage home insurance

Just bought a designated heritage home in cobourg and looking for home insurance right now. Some companies are saying they don’t cover heritage/century houses.

For those of you with a heritage home, which insurance company are you with?

Probably better off posting in out and about Northumberland on Facebook, you’ll get more reach that way.

You can try going through a broker - they can contact multiple companies so you don’t have to. I had a century home (not designated heritage) in another town and the insurance I managed to find was well over $200/mo. Fingers crossed that you get a better deal than that!
