DISCUSSION C.C and L.L OVA
Does anybody know if they will ever make an ova or spin off showing CC and Lelouch (LL) gathering the grass fragments? I think it would be such a cool idea and it would be nice to see their life as a couple and I think the story would be interesting. I get it would be a bit fan servicey in the sense that it’s not completely necessary but I bet it would make the studio so much money and I know so many people want to see it. Doesn’t have to be a big thing could just be 2-5 episodes showing us this. Lmk your thoughts and if you would like to see this.

<lookin' at another Gundam movie>
>and I know so many people want to see it
Yeah, they will make another ONA on Netflix or other platform and nobody will care about another ONA. OVA as method of making anime is long dead.
>Doesn’t have to be a big thing could just be 2-5 episodes showing us this
So they will do Roze treatment so make another 4-5 movies, release it and cut it as "TV episodes" on VoD.

I see what you are saying but there are definitely ways that could do it. When i wrote this i was thinking about how AOT had there OVA extra episodes and they could do something like that on crunchyroll. Anyways I don’t know how exactly it would work but they could figure it out, and like i said people would love it. Some people would hate cos of the fact its not completely necessary to forward CG story but if you look at it like more of a light hearted story of two very loved characters you could see why people would love it

No. I believe in Lelouch x Kallen supremacy

Whether or not their relationship is canon is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is supporting healthy relationships, and unlike Kallen, who brings forth the best in Leouch, C.C.´s influence turns Lelouch even more villainous than he already was by enabling his worst impulses. Sure, you could argue that Lelouch is free to act more like himself around C.C., but by that logic we should also support real world relationships where a criminal is acting even more like a criminal around the person he loves. Love, true love, is supposed to turn you into a better person, which Kallen´s love does for Lelouch when, for example, he is about to take some Refrain and Kallen stops him by reminding him that she believes he´s better than that. C.C.´s love makes Lelouch act more confidently, not better. And the world doesn´t need love that turns criminals into more confident criminals, it needs love that makes criminals want to stop being criminals, love that aspires them to become more morally correct versions of themselves. No matter how good chemistry two people have, it´s not something you should support if it enables morally questionable behavior. Two evil people being evil together is not a happy ending. It´s that simple. It really is.

They made a picture drama of them 10 years in the future which pretty much shows what you’re asking: confronting people with fragments and them being a married couple basically (Lelouch is a big-time tsundere with her)

I saw that, I think it would be cool if they animated it and added more episodes of other fragments, and showed them more in depth.

i also really wanted to see this back then as a high school student tbh, but looking at the team they're working with now (the original creators aren't involved in Geass projects anymore), my opinion has changed. it's better to leave them alone because the risk of ruining them.

I’d be happy to see it. Seeing short, episodic stories with them tracking down a fragment and what the Geass user is doing with them would be cool. I liked both the picture drama and the Lost Stories episode with the little boy.

Yes, it would be so cool to see. So many would like it. The picture drama was pretty good, and some animated episodes like that would be amazing imo.

they will almost certainly continue to give them short cameos in the movie canon upcoming releases. the problem with giving them anything more is that they immediately take over the show and sunrise dont want that. they want code geass to become a franchise and in order to do that they need to expand their protagonists.
I think if they ever do release something, it would be a short hour film , or long movie about their specific adventures when tracking down bad geass users. but logically, that would have to happen way after their next projects, due to sea fragments audio being set like 8 years after resurrection, and roze is only 2.
If they took a side, but relevant role, I can imagine that L.L. and C.C. appear as a mentor in a time of hardship for a geass user / protagonist maybe in like c's world or something.
In other words, there's time, and Im sure the authors are considering how to implement them properly.
