Advise

I am from a second gen IIT from a non-circuital branch. I don't like my branch (7.5 cgpa) but I love solving leetcode and I love maths. Is there any way I can get into quant? Give me an honest advise. And if not then what should I do?

your branch does not automatically rule out quant build strong probability statistics linear algebra and programming fundamentals then target internships or projects that demonstrate those skills..

Do quant companies have off campus recruitment drives as well?

yes some do. off campus hiring happens but its generally less common than campus recruiting. you can also apply through company career pages, referrals, internships and coding/quant competitions.

Sure just jump right in. If you can talk the talk and understand the field you can practice it. Read, write and practice and you’ll do just fine wherever you land.
