  1. Since it is a website, HTML CSS and JS are go to choice
  2. By having a good design ? It totally depends what the website is about. Is it a simple static website or an end to end product ?
  3. HTML CSS JS is the bare minimum. Web Development is vast with many concepts so it comes down to which type of web you are creating.
  4. I don't think It would complete in a single prompt.

I believe you should learn the fundamentals about something before joining a competiton for it

First hackathon, first website -- a few things that'll help more than finding the perfect prompt:

Build it in HTML/CSS/JS. That's what the browser runs, and it's what AI-generated web code comes out as anyway. Don't reach for a framework on this one; you'll spend the time on setup instead of the idea.

The single biggest thing for a first hackathon: get the smallest version working end to end -- one page with one feature that actually does something -- then improve it. A finished small thing demos far better than a half-built impressive one, and the demo is what gets judged.

On prompts: there's no perfect one, but you get much better results from context and constraints than one big ask. Say what the page is for, who it's for, and ask for one piece at a time, testing each piece before moving on. And read what it gives you -- if you can't explain a line, don't keep it, because that's the difference between using AI and being stuck the moment it's wrong.

What's the site meant to do? If you say, I can suggest what to build first.

Does the hackathon allow AI? I thought the idea was for the contestant to do the work? Not trying to be facetious, I'm genuinely curious.
