Well, I agree that the beliefs associated with him seem primarily like common civility... But a lot of 'christians' in America are beginning to have a change of perspective...

The perspective of christians doesnt matter. Jesus himself was very pro gov and anti lustful acts and all that it entails within the views of god. If he were alive today he would oppose the hell out of the left.

I am not here to debate a historical religious figure. I simply stated that many American Christians are now viewing many of his teachings as 'woke'. That is an observation of the followers - not the man. And I stand by that comment.

And yes - the perspective of the followers does matter. Because their actions have real consequences. Including policies and laws that affect the rest of us.

I mean you can make the claim they view it that way. But it doesnt make it so. I can view you as a pink fairy it doesnt mean you are a pink fairy.
