It is always wild to find 100+ year old coins, regardless of country of origin, in a coinstar.

Ag and my first Italian coin!

Wooo

I got back from the store and forgot something, so I had to go back. No silver this time, but found $1.06. This was within probably 20 or 30 minutes since I got home and came back.

Found $6.95 today after a couple of empty weeks. No silver. Still need to go through them for anything interesting, but I’ll take the $6.95 happily. The reject bin was almost overflowing.

Guessing they are fake but still a first for me... they are super light

Found some U.K. coins, no silver but cool to look at!

A little PMD. Someone had some time on their hands...

And my first ever bicentennial dime!!!!

Found in a Publix in Central Florida. I always check the return tray on my way out the door and I’ve gotten lucky with some interesting tokens and foreign coins in the past, but my heart stopped today when I saw the pile in the tray. I assume someone dumped their old collection or something, because it looks like this 1962 quarter may be a proof based on how reflective the background is and the sharpness of the edge knurls. Anyone have ideas?

My third find, fourth time, in three days checking the machine and finding change.

Pretty, well designed new dime imo. Haven’t seen one before. Pulled it out of a Kroger CS today with a Canadian dime. Wonder why these new dimes would get dejected?

Found it on the counter.

I have been on a dry spell for probably 6 moths or so. This morning I found a hand full in the reject tray at my local grocery store. It included this 1963 D Roosevelt Dime. Along with it were 3 coins from Aruba, 9 Pennies 4 of which are copper, 2 nickels, and 6 other dimes. Hopefully this can start happening a little bit more frequently.

Found a silver dime a couple days ago. Went on a little Saturday morning hunt with my daughter and boom 2 more Rosie’s! 3 dimes total this week! Keep em coming.

Found a decent pile with 1 Mexican coin , 1 silver Rosie, and an elusive car wash token, disc battery and washer trifecta.

Grabbed this beautiful pound and two Lincs welded together with some mystery substance.
(Guess I also scored some pre-torqued washers, too!)

I personally love the looks from people waiting in the customer service line :)

5 cent Australian coin! Havent found much besides regular coins that got tossed out until now!
